I prefer the ATV3 preset (modified for file size and subtitling). Although I haven't done a ton of testing the files have worked fine on my iPad and iPhone in my sig.

I use the ATV3 preset too and it works great. I was asking just in case somebody bothered to properly research!

At the time of the post I didnt have an iPad. I was using an Android tablet which was capable of playing whatever my ATV could. iPad doesn't seem capable of that.

I use the ATV3 preset (at RF 22) and it works flawlessly on all my Apple products.

Changing it from 20 to 22 lowers quality a little bit correct? Can you tell the difference in quality? Does it take longer to encode?
