*Me laughing because I haven’t even gotten a chance to use this design yet and people are calling it old.*

I have an 11Pro. I am excited about the squared design with the DI and ultra thin bezels and titanium material and the 4 years of camera improvements, battery jumps, and satellite connectivity. Gonna be huge for me.

Anyone complaining could just, you know, wait a year and spend their money on something else this cycle.
The 11 pro was actually my fav design of any iPhone thus far. Way more comfy to hold. See how you feel about this design when you finally upgrade.

What do people honestly expect? Have the Pixel and Galaxy lines, both great phones, changed drastically? I honestly don't know, but they seem to have a similar design aesthetic from each iteration. Same with iPhones. It feels like we are at the ceiling of aesthetics—it's the internals that count ;)

Small changes to make them more comfortable in hand.
At least they are making an effort. Apple doesn’t seem to be.

I’m glad the edges is improving from the 12/13 models. I have a feeling I still would prefer the design from the 11 pro. If only they would get rid of the pill and have a full screen display, but that is probably a few years under way.

Spot on. I wish iPhones stayed with Lightning.

It's much more mechanically robust than USB-C, designed for daily insertions and extractions.
Agreed. So it’s a shame Apple didn’t upgrade it – even if it was just to silence the speed-fretting.

I still hope they make the iPhone SE bigger and put face ID into it. The I will go down from my 14 Pro.
If not the 14 Pro will be my last iPhone for many years.

My Apple branded USB-C to Lightning cable plugs into a 200 watt power supply. It refills the electrons very quickly into my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I really wonder if there will be an increase in charging speeds with the proposed USB-C?

Only if we see top tier USB-C data transfer speeds will this farce be worthwhile. Are wireless WiFi transfer speeds going to challenge cable connections for data transfer speeds?

I will get the new top model so my wife gets this year's iPhone 14 Pro Max top model and her iPhone 13 Pro Max unit goes to another family member. Keeps all the folks happy....

A portless iPhone would make wireless transfers the only option....

Everything I have.
You need to stop reading into it.
There are always exceptions.
that wasn't what the discussion was about that you included yourself in. you're trying to use the "it works for me" argument which is quite pointless.

just one of the problems of these discussion boards. *sigh* we're done. have a good one.

Is there anyone besides myself who actually prefers larger bezels? Not 6/7/8 size, but bigger than my 13 Pro.

You really need to stop being so literal.
Interjection in a forum is how you can stimulate discussion.
Anyway, have a great day.

I’ll never understand this question. Other than making it thicker to allow for a larger battery, lens rearrangement that might allow for everything to be flush, what needs to be changed?

We’ve had round edges, to square, back to round and then square again. Should they try octagonal or triangle edges? Maybe a triangular phone.

Technology with better cameras make for massive bumps. Make the phone super thick and everyone will call it a cinder block instead of just a brick.

Design is fine. JMO. 👊😃👍
I agree - having to change cases every time Apple tinkers over nothing noticeable….
