I'll keep using my Bose QC15's.
A good friend of mine swears by his, he added some bluetooth kit and couldn't be happier
I'll keep using my Bose QC15's.
you would THINK a review would say how they sound compared to other headphones. For example, the AKG K240 sells for about $60 and is an industry-standard and has been for about 40 years. How do they compare?
You would think they would talk about the effectiveness of the noise reduction system too.
For $300 these should beat most other well-known headphones in terms of sound quality and be VERY effective a canceling noise but we don't know if this is the case by reading this review.
Well as a Bose QC 35 owner I’d recommend you check out the owner outrage at what Bose has done in June about ruining the ANC in their QC 35 I and II line with a software update and since then absolutely no response to customers. I’m hoping Apple and Sony come up with awesome ANC so I can dump Bose and their shady practices. But how does the ANC compare to the top Sony and Bose cans?
Lightning to lightning surelyEric, is it possible to use these headphones with a wired audio cable? Could you test them with Apple’s lightning to 3.5mm adapter?
The pricing is comical for what you are getting here. Why anyone would choose these over Bose or Sony is beyond me.
I have a Bluetooth aux adapter that I use with all of my headphones when traveling. Works great! You'd be surprised how necessary a wired option is. Trans-pacific flight with no USB... still worked.![]()
When I look at those headphones it gives me the impression of a cheap plastic set you'd buy for a child. That matte blue isn't helping and maybe they look better in person, but the pair i use to own felt like cheap plastic, too.
I spent a few extra bucks for B&W PX, and the sound and feel is 10x better, not to mention USB-C like everyone else in the world. Lightning to USB-A, Apple?? Really???
You’re kidding me right? There are 500+ Apple Stores. Apple is a global and very popular consumer brand. People also see it as luxury. Apple sees more foot traffic than many other brands. People are going to see colorful Beats that sound decent and are worn by athletes and BUY BUY BUY.
It’s a wonder how any of you even understand Apple or the average consumer.
You're better off purchasing headphones from a professional audio company like Sennheiser. Depending on what you're looking for, you may find what you want costs much less; and with unbelievably better quality sound. Their main products are for the professional audio market, but their consumer focused products are excellent as well.
What is the Sony equivalent for these?
Waste of money
Agreed. I foolishly bought a pair of Beats solo 3 once because I bought the hype. Those died for various reasons, and I tried the Bose QC35 II. The sound quality is dramatically better. The microphone quality is dramatically better. Noise cancellation too.Waste of money
Your statement is nonsense.
They've got the bling market covered... anybody who wants to tell the world they spent $$$ on a set of headphones will want a pair.
Personally, I'm happy with my no frills wireless JVC flats headphones. They sound great and I doubt anybody's gonna mug me for them. Also if they break or get lost, I won't be crying that much.
What's NOT expensive garbage are the Bose wireless noise-canceling headphones. If you are ever on a plane or train and truly want ALL external sound blocked so you can sleep or listen to what YOU wish, Bose can't be Beaten. This is what I like to call "Expensive garbage"
I looooove mine. Everything about them so far. I've owned... many headphones over the years. My wireless powerbeats pro headphones are a huge $250 disappointment. I feel like I can’t trust beats brand, apple, or any of the websites that gave them glowing reviews.
