Kind of disappointed. I was expecting to be able to access and watch available tv shows and movies from supported apps directly from the TV app. Right now, the app is the same as it was before.
I’m getting ready to get rid of Dish so I signed up for a free trial of Ps vue and it intergrates well with the TV app
Wish I️ could link Vudu and amazon purchase to it so all video are in once place and tv showsDoes it still support Home Sharing to stream from a local Mac instead of the Apple servers?
I am getting Netflix suggestions. Specifically, while looking at One Nation Under Stress I get Netflix owned documentaries suggestions. I thought Netflix was being left out. I read the article carefully to see if this was noticed. Anyone else?
Integrates how? It’s the same as the old TV app, just so you know. If you’re just looking for the Up Next integration, yea that works as it did prior.
Not ‘left out’ so much as didn’t want to play. But maybe they have changed their minds and opened back up to the deep search. However they likely won’t do the in app sign up because that means having to split with apple.

Before if you had something like Dish, DirecTV, Vue it would open another app. The talk is now it just plays right in the TV app. Supposedly even for live stuff.
Why can't Apple just bundle everything together and charge a fixed amount every month, so that EVERYONE (Globally) can have access to all these channels? I don't understand - isn't it beneficial for these channels as well? (I know they are usually offered via satelite/cable providers, but why can't we have the option to have these also via Apple?
