I'm surprised Apple doesn't have grounds to sue them. I'm sure there's some technicality that allows them to do this, much like the Modbooks.

Wireless connection would suffer.

All metal enclosure device usually have some plastic inlets molded into metal body to allow wireless transmission. This lavish case had price higher than base Mac Pro, heck

As with the cybertruck, I wouldn't call the design "interesting". I would just call it "ugly".

Most stupid gear I've ever seen. As well as their pipelines "Nord stream", "Turkish stream", "Power of Siberia", "Power of bruhaha streams", "Nas tam net stream", tons of them.

This is absolute rubbish, a complete waste of money and totally impractical. The screen cover contraption would drive me crazy. If I got this for free I would put it in the garbage.

Which is kind of the point - products like this are aimed at people whose primary requirement is an ostentatious display of how much money they have and can afford to waste without batting an eyelid - like using rolled up money notes to light cigars. For them the attractiveness of a product isn't based on subjective aesthetics, but how expensive it looks. Actual functionality and practicality comes much further down the list.

In the earlier days of smartphones, if you went to somewhere like the UAE you'd see normal people walking round with iPhones and Android phones, whereas the wealthy ones would be sporting gold cased or diamond encrusted phones that were actually pretty basic Nokia dumb phones.

I’m late, but I gotta say: I really want them to just ship it with the exact same baseball-shaped holes that were put in the CyberTruck at the keynote. Just, please, for the love of God—do it.

The only thing it has going for it IS the price. I mean who sends out a demo model of a thousands of dollar item that's broken and made of a different (cheaper and more common) metal?

This looks like it will stop my Mac Pro with wheels from rolling away! I'll get four!
