I might add that a folio case has saved my screen from damage more than once. I shudder when I see naked phones.
Seems just a hair fatter than the iphone 3g. It's definitely a thicc phone.
But it is a phone and mini tablet in one. Therefore, it is honestly insane how thin this device is when folded. It is a true engineering feat. If it were just a slab phone then yes, it would be thick. But it's not.
I remember when people were paying $199 for iPhone and saying they would never pay more. Now, it’s over $1k and it will eventually hit $2k. We are all addicted to these damned things.
It is astounding to me that people still cannot comprehend the advantages of a foldable phone. It is a mini tablet and phone in one, that I can easily slide into any pocket. Is it really that hard for you to understand?
I mean, people's pockets don't care though lol. That was really my point. For some, the thickness of this thing is untenable. And that's fine. I don't see this particular device getting mass adoption, if for no other reason, the cost of entry.
That would mean our happiness is based on them. However, that's not my personal experience..
I will pay that for a foldable iPhone, but like we have now, slab phone, no way I'd pay that much.
Don't limit yourself just to the apple ecosystem, you're missing out! I have a Samsung Flip 4, an iPhone 14 Pro, 2 Macs and 2 Windows PC's, and I never have a problem between them.

I don't wear skinny jeans, so I can't speak for those, but I've not had an issue putting any of my foldables in any pockets. I even have my Pixel Fold with me at the gym when I am doing cardio in gym shorts. I personally think it is more pocketable than my 12 PM was. It was way to tall and wide for my liking. To each their own though.
Same here. I have an iPhone (work phone) and a Pixel 7 as backup phones to my Pixel Fold, and I use Linux, Windows, and MacOS on a daily basis.
Surely you are able to understand that there's a slew of usage cases here. You have made it clear the phone works for you, and I am in no way trying to convince you are anyone otherwise. Was just putting into perspective the thickness of the phone. It's rather thick, regardless of how we justify it. We live in a world where people lament the discontinuation of the mini due to its extreme pocketability, while some others wish things were thicker just to add to battery size.
