What do you mean "too contrasty"? OLED Displays are capable of delivering infinite contast when the picture calls for it. It does not mean that they can't render low contrast images. They can. Sure, those who are used to LCD's low contrast (because of their limitations) picture may get shocked by the quality of OLED screen but that's not a good reason to dislike OLED screens.I wouldn't be so quick to jump on the bandwagon. Samsung OLED on their phones are way too contrasty. Also, it's kind of interesting that OLED is billed as more energy efficient but samsung doens't really beat apple in the battery life game.
I like OLED for deeper blacks, hope they fix the contrast problem. They already fixed the screen life problem.
