Android as a productive operating system is dead on tablets. iPadOS, Windows, and ever ChromeOS have all surpassed Android as a tablet OS.

That's just Apple's marketing kool-aid. Do you actually use an Android tablet for productivity? Because I do, all the time. It's great. Especially with Samsung's DeX option, but even without it works really well.

It supports mice properly, applications scale well and perform great. The days when applications didn't scale well and left huge swathes of screen space unused are long gone. iPadOS fixes a lot of the iOS shortcomings in terms of productivity but Android is still on-par IMO. Previously it was just way better.

I have an iPad as well and I don't like it as much for actually getting stuff done. If you stay strictly within Apple's ecosystem it's ok. But I'm very multi-OS (I use every mainstream desktop and mobile OS) and Android works way better there.

You have no idea what tech ours or any country has offer outside of what you read in the news. Further more, China hacks the USA relentlessly so the last thing we need is a less friendly country supplying key communication infrastructure with backdoors. It's common sense.

What I have is more than 25 countries visited and lived in 4. That is what doesn't let me swallow the Marvel Movie-hamburger dream dreams most people seem to love and believe.

Since Samsung launched the Fold I've only seen a reviewer to have a problem with it. So they are certainly not falling apart in the hands of the first customers and reviewers.

Agreed. I've read and watched a lot of reviews and such, and have only seen one report of any problems. Buyers seem genuinely and overwhelming happy. Much more so than I would have predicted.

Apparently it's the Logitech MX Keys

Thanks a lot. I appreciate you taking the time out to reply back!

Eh, I was tempted to get the card. I pay for everything with a credit card because the rewards are great. Also, I rather have my credit card hacked then my bank account.

Just an FYI, bank accounts are rarely, if ever hacked. There’s too many security protocols that have monitoring systems with bank accounts where they would be ‘hacked’. Can it happen? Sure. But somebody would need to know/have complete access to the account information in order for that to even happen.

Additionally, You saying that you rather have your credit card ‘hacked’, shows that obviously you’re not aware of the ramifications if that were to happen to you. Yes, there is fraud protection with most credit cards company, but that can take months to investigate/resolve, if not a year to sort out in the meantime while your credit is suffering and your identity has been abducted.

I assume his point was that debit cards sometimes have no maximum liability, whereas credit cards typically have $50 liability in the event of fraud? (Also, credit cards can only be ripped off up to the amount of your credit limit, whereas some debit cards will allow you to drain the entire account)

I'm sorry but the curiosity is killing me. What causes someone to reply to a 3 month old post in a thread that hasn't been active in 2 1/2 months? Just wondering...

You’re sorry for asking a question to another member on a discussion forum? There’s no need to apologize.

Anyways, I was reading an article on the galaxy Fold, which linked me back to this thread, which then I came across this members post, which wasn’t entirely accurate what they said, which provoked me to reply to their post.

But thanks for your inquiry, I hope this cleared your question.

Last time (and the only time) my credit card was “hacked”, it took less than a month to have my money back (3000€ stolen) and a new card available.
And the hacked card was blocked in a matter of minutes, literally...

ok bank card, better? That’s just as easy as any credit card in a skimmer.

No kidding. This is why I rather have a credit card have issues than my bank account. I can go for months not needing a credit card, I can’t risk a bank account.
