It's good thanks to the function keys and it is divide in two parts, but it's isn uncomfortable to use in airplane or in train because it takes more space and on the legs is very unstable (unsteady). Also not have backlight and usb-c port, so you can't charge iPad keeping other usb port free.

I didn't see it's mentioned anywhere apart from Brad Colbow's YouTube review:
Apparently the front cover of the folio doesn't have magnets and since it's a bit loose than the Magic Keyboard for Air/Pro, it's flappy and slides around whenever you close it.

EDIT:
Here's the link to the video. The proof is at 5:27 mark.
The iPad 10th gen review

It isn’t backlit?! Wow, wtf Apple 😒

And to think the excellent Logitech Combo Touch I had for my 9th gen was just as capable, with a great trackpad, kickstand, a reliable keyboard, a more protective case for the iPad itself, function keys, and backlighting, all for $150…

Agreed. It's so blatant there is literally no other excuse. They can't even go with the "we are saving the customers money" route because YOU NEED ANOTHER ADAPTER. This iPad will go mostly to kids and students, who will lose the pencil and parts of this ****** keyboard, which they won't sell or replace separately, meaning more money. When is everyone going to internalize that THIS is Apple now.

A little birdie confirmed to me that this is in fact exactly the case. The internal mechanism for magnetically attaching, charging, and pairing Pencil 2 is both expensive and somewhat large. And cameras are surprisingly large internally once you count the flex connectors and everything else. You can actually see this for yourself by looking at a teardown of a Pencil-2-compatible iPad. It’s going to require significant new engineering to make future iPads that support Pencil 2 with the front camera on the landscape side.

I'm sorry to burst your narrative.

I really like the different Apple keyboards, but the major point of non-use for me is that they cannot be used on the lap. I’ve tried and it just doesn’t work. I guess that I’m sticking with Brydge keyboards for the foreseeable future.

The MSRP might be a bit high but who’s paying full price for these accessories anyway? The ”$299” Magic Keyboard was always available for under $200 and actually worth every bit of that cost.

Reminds me a good amount of the Surface RT, except in MS’s case, you pretty much needed the keyboard since there weren’t exactly any good touch-centric apps (and they never materialized). MS made the Typecover more reasonably priced, and the stand was smartly built in, though only had one stage. That was about 10 years ago, so it’s surprising to see it rematerialize on the base iPad. Seems like all this should have come to be on the Air and Pro, while a really cheap keyboard cover should be made for the base iPad to better line up with the value/education proposition. Curious how well the kit will sell, or if this is the next wave of accessories and they just haven’t been pushed to the other lineups yet.
