The price is fine, it's the lack of colours that's concerning.

Just bought a pair of WF-1000XM3 and would be happy to replace them with these if they had anything but white.

I've had three pairs of AirPods, and they've all gone faulty, which is why I'll stay away from these. Also because of the way they're made, they're impossible to repair, so putting down so much money isn't attractive. At least the AirPods were always on sale for £100, so I didn't feel too bad, but these will not drop below 200...

Well, after just a few days of use, I do like them! I started with v1 and moved on to v2. The v3 is an improvement when compared to fit, and like others' have pointed out, noise cancellation is the most notable feature.

I have a physical disability, and the AirPods have helped me quite a bit. For this reason alone, I appreciate the advancement Apple has made with this version 3. However, I can't bring myself to champion the so-called 'pro' designation.

The Good:
  • Replaceable/adjustable rubber tips significantly reduce the chance of them falling out
  • Noise Cancellation works better than expected
  • Less intrusive appearance
  • Slightly improved sound quality (subjective)
  • Apple Care option

The Bad:
  • Atrocious operating times between charges (in my experience its worst than v1 & v2)
  • Rather expensive with AppleCare (albeit a no-brainer option)
  • Manual controls (I struggle when switching from transparency to noise cancellation)
  • Occasional latency when using *Siri (as with v1 & v2)
  • Inherit and everlasting iOS software bugs

*Siri is the Achilles' Heel with practically any device that attempts to leverage voice activation. Apple has demonstrated they are willing to give up on a product they can't get to work as intended, and Siri is undoubtedly one such product. Insomuch that Google is in the information business, Apple should purchase a license for Google Assistant and call it done.

FWIW, I had similar experience a couple years ago with my Bose QC35s when I first tried them on. I immediately got nauseous, which was particularly disappointing because I had just boarded a plane for a 13 hour flight. I took them off and tried later on and the nausea went away. I haven't had any issues since.
first time using my airpods pro - devastated that i feel nauseous. i’ll persist tomorrow.

still yet to find the need to charge my air pod pros since I got them. still on 52%.

even my old air pods 2 used them for work all week and still the case has 9% charge. not sure where all the people moaning about older air pods not lasting battery life wise.
