I bought a Nike+ version last year for the perforated band. Traded in the watch, kept the band and bought a regular Sport this year. I never installed any of the Nike watch faces last year so I'm sure I won't miss those.

I did the exact same thing. The good part was the trade in didn’t take away the band, chargers or the adapter.

Same here. The aluminum doesn’t deliver for me in terms of aesthetics and ultimately I feel it’s too light on the wrist. The stainless, Abeit, it is very expensive, it does deliver feeling more substantial from the added weight and the Sapphire display.
Lol, too light on the wrist? Of course, you lift weights! :p I can’t imagine how insubstantial the aluminum version must feel to you.

The older steel watches did feel a bit heavy on my wrist, seeming to focus the weight on one pressure point on my wrist. Even my LTE series 4 aluminum Nike felt a bit heavier than my 2 and was a bit uncomfortable as I started getting carpal tunnel flare ups again (not caused by the watch).

But they’ve redistributed the weight better on the series 4 so I’m back to enjoying stainless again.

However I do miss the Nike faces. Fortunately after owning a series 2 and 3 Nike watch I still have their bands that I enjoy. And I still have my series 2 watch itself. It’s black, so I think for me it nails the aesthetics.

I admit I didn’t like my silver Series 3 Nike as much as I thought I would. It was neither white enough to contrast with my bands as much as I had hoped it would nor silver enough to have the same ability to look good with everything that stainless has. So that one got traded in.

I went with the gold stainless, which does look good, but only with certain bands. Still, I’m happy with it, because it looks nice with most other things I own.

I actually went into bodybuilding back in July. When I first purchased the Apple Watch back in April 2015, that was my biggest complaint was the weight of the Alumnum just felt too light, (And I didn’t care for the durability of the Ion-X Glass.) The stainless to me was the perfect weight and balance on my wrist, and the sapphire display is a huge consideration in terms of protection.

I went with the gold stainless, which does look good, but only with certain bands. Still, I’m happy with it, because it looks nice with most other things I own.

I also ordered the 44 mm gold stainless, which I’m still waiting for to be delivered towards the end of this month. I did order the 44 mm black stainless which I did receive early, and that is excellent with the diamond like carbon coating Surrounding the casing and the Sapphire display. Although, I can’t say I’m exactly pleased with the price increase this year, (which I expected), but there really is no other option for me in terms of wanting a smart watch that’s completely compatible with iOS and Apples hardware is phenomenal.

The Apple Watch is that one product I find very personal and I can justify in spending because I do think it’s one the most unique products they offer in their lineup.

Has the Nike Run App been updated to display on full screen on the 44mm?

Tried it a few days ago and it definitely looks like it could be optimized for the 44mm watch version?

Reminds me of the iPhone 6/6 Plus days when Apps weren’t optimized to utilize the full phone screen potential.

Man I was so close to picking one of these up yesterday at my Apple store. They look really good!

They had them all in stock. Closest I ever came to buying an Apple Watch thus far.

Still couldn’t pull the trigger. I guess I have truly reached a point in life where I want less tech not more tech.

One thing I think I’m only now understanding about these limited edition watches is that even though the ‘watch face’ is software they are still ‘limited’? Doesn’t anyone else find that ridiculous?

Does the Nike Watch have all the watch faces of the non Nike Apple Watch 4?
[doublepost=1538835123][/doublepost]Do the holes in the band disperse heat allowing the battery to last longer on Nike Watch?

why would anyone buy the non nike version if this one has more features...? Am I missing something? is there a catch?

You are very much mistaken about the band. It is incredibly reflective. SHOCKINGLY reflective. The thing is, it only reflects light directly back at the light source. Therefore even shining a flashlight at it from up close will not let you see anything interesting. To start to see the effect place the flashlight next to your eye and look at the band. For the most impressive angle pull out a phone and take a video with the phone’s flashlight on. The camera is close enough to the led that the band will turn bring white. The idea is that while people in passing cars at night can see it, it looks normal to everyone else. That way you, and everyone not holding a flashlight next to their eye will always see it as a black band. If it were not like this, it would be glowing all day which would be both destracting for you and people around you, as well as really ugly.

does the guy in the video not know how retro reflective materials work? Put the flashlight next to the camera. Retro reflection materials return most of the light back to its source.

I don't know why people like these any more than the regular watch but more power to them I suppose.
Because the bands are better than the standard sport band (which is the worst band Apple makes, IMO) and I think the Nike watch faces are the nicest ones offered. And it costs the same so why not?

“Editions” just are more appealing. I got the Hermès Watch (for several reasons) but it’s definitely nice to have a model that’s a collaboration.

Just personal opinion. I like the Nike+ watch faces and bands. They are pretty cool.

The watch faces are alright But you had to wait an extra month where majority of us, obtained S4 at launch as for the bands I did want the sport loop reflective but since Dan says its really not all that great meh.

I'm good an satisfied at this point... :D:D:apple::apple:

Is the Apple Black Sport Loop the same that’s included with this watch?
No, it's similar black color- but not reflective. Currently you're not able to buy the Nike Spot Loop alone, only get it with the Watch.

It’s not similar actually. The black sport loop that comes with the non Nike S4 and you can buy separately from the Apple store has rainbow colors in the band. It doesn’t look bad but wasn’t my cup of tea. I exchanged my S4 for a Nike one.

I can’t get the nike ‘training’ app to show up on my bike watch even though it’s installed and showing on the Apple Watch iPhone app ?

Too bad the Nike Run Club complication doesn’t work on the featured INFOGRAPH watch face!!! WTF Apple? It does work on a few, but the whole point of the Nike+ Watch was to take advantage of extra watch faces and have quick access to the NRC app via the complication that works on other old watch faces. Give it a shot. I’d love for someone to prove me wrong!!

Just got mine and set it up. What a difference this display makes! Chose info/modular watch Face. Couldn’t find a setup that I could live with on infograph and that’s fine. The sport loop is smaller than previous one and the black/reflective yarn is low key
Do you mean the length of the new band is shorter? Thanks.
