Photo was shot last year for my gf (Valentines Day 2007).

This year, I made her a V-day card using coloured construction paper, scissors, glue, some creativity, and wuv. Too bad I forgot to photograph it! Total cost was $4, and she'll probably love it.

And what is special about Russian web-sites?? I'm Russian and don't think there are any problems with them... 🙂

Seriously. Actually, Costco 'round here has gorgeous flowers and at very decent prices. 🙂

But truth be told, I'm not much of a flowers-gal. It feels a bit, wasteful. 😱 Spend a decent chunk of money for such an ephemeral experience. Though it is nice to see in the house, and does smell nice.

Potted plants are nice. 😀 They stick around (assuming you don't slaughter them).

Ah yes, Valentine's Day. Or rather Commercialtine's Day.

I don't believe in the whole commercialization of V-Day. It basically is saying, be nice to your loved one for one day because we tell you to. Doesn't really make it special. So the GF and I are just making some dinner.

I might cave and buy flowers if they are reasonably priced...

I know what you mean. Valentine's day is so commercialized. I usually make cards so as not to give my money to the greed-ing card companies. (Eat that Hallmark 😛 )
 
NO! I refuse to have a happy day!! I've been single for about 18 hours and I do not like it. (It was my doing, but I'm still bummed.)

Sad panda to the max.
