Happy with Space Grey?

Very happy.

I like the look much better than slate from last year.

Not a chance I could ever go with the white face on an iPhone. Too flashy and unprofessional looking.

Very happy with mine as well. I went with a white iPhone 5 and decided to go back to black for the 5s...couldn't be happier.

I had a white 5 and a black iPad and the white just got bland to me! I love the black 5s, it's stealth look is great, not flashy and I'm for sure keeping mine! Love it!

I preferred my slate iPhone 5, but who cares. It's a phone. In the end the color of my phone is really stupid to get worked up over. There are much more important things in life to worry about. In fact, why am I replying to this?

Space Gray is not a color that I like, but I'm not going to bash it.

Sadly Apple has become consistently inconsistent. Jet Black has been an iPhone color as popular with some of us, as has been white with others.

To suddenly drop black is a big deal unless you don't like the color. But to do so without a word in their typical way just sucks. With plenty of resources adding Space Gray along with Black would have been the thing to do.

Yet Apple loves to prove who's boss, and they've got plenty of shills to stick up for them. They're laughing all the way to the bank.

It was my understanding they dropped the graphite color for the scratch issues that were big on the iPhone 5. They didn't say it in the keynote, but that's what I think.

Although I've already read here about scratched out of the box 5s in space gray, so I'm not really sure.

This was my guess as well. Scratches won't be as prominent.

I love black and slate, but I upgrade yearly and Apple is going to mix it up again with colors next year for the iPhone 6 so it's pointless to obsess over it.

Plus, between my wife and I, I keep one model of each form factor and ebay the others. I'll have one iteration of each form factor (including black and slate iPhone 5) starting with the original iPhone.

I just knew--knew--some dolt would pipe up and say a thirty-day return is not the exact same thing as a year-long return, and thus there is nothing to be learned, the point is stupid, I'm an idiot. Just knew it, the second I posted it.

Reading comprehension 101. The point of the story was to show how a previously-generous return policy was curtailed by people abusing that policy. Nowhere was it stated the two are identical. Never said identical, never implied identical.

The point is, Apple currently has a more generous return policy than wireless carriers. Abuse it, and it will disappear. Just like it did at REI. The abuse by a few impacted the return rights of the many. Are you so dense you cannot grasp the point? Are you?

I have had a black iPhone since the 3G and decided to order white/silver this time.

I went to Apple store yesterday to see them and the grey looks really nice. It's minor, but the home button being all black looks great IMO.

Kind of torn as to which one to get.

My last two phones were white, so i felt like a change & got space gray. I like it a lot, not going to exchange. They should've named it gunmetal though. That's what it reminds me of.

I got a white 5 on release didn't like it gave it too my wife got a black 5, gave it to my son now have a space grey 5S.
