I love my Verizon service. I've been with them for 3.5 years and wouldn't switch for anything! Although, I do live in a valley so my service isn't so hot, I've never dropped a call or lost my data connection.

Ok, my 3G problem is just in my house. Around my area, I got nearly 2Mbps at an intersection. I can handle no 3G at my house. I had no 3G three years ago at my house with AT&T.

Make sure your SMS/MMS/iMessage works. This uses cellular data even when you're on Wifi.

Odd that you live in Denver and get no 3G. I live in a small city of about 50,000 and have strong 3G at home, usually about 4 bars. I go in and out at work, but its in a very rural area. At school in Columbus I constantly have 5 bar 3G. The only problem I've ever had with Verizon is the price. Sprint was cheaper but the signal wasn't nearly the same as what I get with Verizon.

Well I figured out it is just in my house. Once I back out of the driveway, I get 3G. I even tested out at just under 2Mbps at one intersection. I can live with no 3G at my house since I have WiFi and an At&T 3GS still activated.

im in the tampa bay area...

when the ip4s launched i pre ordered verizon, when i picked the phone up at the ups hub that morning i said the hell with it just port me over.

could not be happier!

ATT was a struggle for me all the time...constantly dropping calls, when calls were connected the quality of the call was horrible.sounds like your underwater

i gave up cause this has been going on in my area for a while now.the only reason i had att was for the iPhone..before that i had alltel which was bullet proof in my area and when i traveled.

verizon has been great for me...i don't surf and talk so no big deal and if your on wifi you can still talk n surf. i had it since launch day and not once have i had to use that feature.

service has been very solid. allot of places where i did not have signal with att i now have full strength.:apple:

Verizon and AT&T have about equal signal strength at my house. But AT&T dropped way more calls than Verizon. Don't know why but I am staying with Verizon.

I can actually use my phone this morning at home. I've made several calls and NONE of them have failed or dropped. I've gotten SIRI to work several times on #G though it does switch to GPRS occasionally, but it's manageable.

Now If I can just figure out my battery issues, I'll be happy. I did switch off the time zone thing after doing some Google searches. They said that was a big battery drain.
