The OP completely goofed. This thread is bogus.

Not really because it was working off and on yet it was off in those settings

What are the options there? What did you need to tweak?

Instead of mirror I phone you go to custom, I didn't realize it had that option. I called support and the guy was asking me questions lol they are clueless since it's so new. I got the Milanese loop and he said that's the one he's waiting for

So the people helping don't even have a watch lol

I found a black speck on my white sport band out of the box this morning. My life is officially ruined.

Is it the case that apps that don't receive notifications with messages, but only a sound or icon badge, do not go through to the watch? I'm finding this with Good. Everything else seems to work as advertised.

I'm loving my 42 SS but the HF is very subtle. I have it turned up to max in settings. I was expecting to be able to determine different patterns but it's just a very slight buzz.

Should I be feeling something else or are the nerves in my wrist dead?

Nope it's very light, I've had to turn on the extra power.

Mine was low/faint. Adjusted it in the settings in the Apple Watch App and it was fine after that. I do notice that I dont get it for some notifications, such as Instagram. But that isnt weird cause I dont get audio notifications on my phone from Instagram.

I don't get it from certain apps such as snapchat.

I'd like more input are we doing something wrong or is it a defect ?

Im getting the notification, and feel the haptic sometimes

Many times if you are busy and moving around you will not feel it. WORST is unless you are in a reasonably quiet area, the little "ding" is a joke and I can not hear it either. Hope Apple will give us more choices.

No, that's my experience with it, too. The strange thing is when I first got this watch in April I had to turn the settings to medium range because it kept startling me when the haptic notifications would come in. I felt like a mouse was using a tiny jackhammer on my wrist.

Then it seemed to get weak pretty quick and I now have haptic settings turned to max with the Prominent Haptic turned on as well, or I won't feel the notifications. I'd worry there was something wrong but there hasn't been any more falloff in haptic strength. I'm willing to believe I simply got desensitized fast. Maybe Apple will come up with the slapstic engine for people like me who need a Three Stooges style knock upside the head to get my attention.

I have actually gone the other way and can now determine between different notifications. I think it just takes a while to be conscious of the subtle notifications.

Yeah it takes some time to get used to them. I can distinguish among them as long as they all buzz me pretty powerfully. In the next generation I'd like to see a stronger tactic engine that we can dial down, instead of the one we have now that a lot of people say they have to run at maximum to feel.

I admit I'm surprised. I've got a delicate little lady wrist. You'd think I would feel this thing easily but I don't.

I am actually worried mine is not working properly. Seems on a restart it is strong and then fades. I have Apple looking into it.
