Just received the case last night. Ordered it Thursday morning, was shipped out on Friday and got it on Monday night. I live in Singapore. So that was pretty fast.
On to the case, the packaging was really basic. In a simple wheatish-coloured bag. Took out the case. First thing that jumped out at me was it's beautiful workmanship. The construction of it is just beautiful. I'll let the pictures do the talking for this one. Next thing was the leather. Distinct leather smell on it and the leather itself is just gorgeous. The fit was extremely tight at first but it loosened up to fit the iPhone 5 within the first couple of uses. Nope, the iPhone won't slide out if you held the sleeve upside down.
The only problem with this sleeve, or it is with all sleeves really, is you have to use 2 hands to take it out. Especially with a sleeve as snug as this. Left hand to hold the sleeve, right thumb to nudge the phone up a bit and right hand to take it out. So this might be a problem for anyone who is considering sleeves. Another issue might be the price. 55GBP + 25 GBP for shipping to Singapore. Cost me $157. Was it worth it? Well, it depends on the individual. I am a sucker for the finer things in life and I enjoy using something not everyone and they grandma are using. Everything about this sleeve just screams class while still being subtle. That being said, if the price turns you off but you would still want to get a sleeve, I'd recommend the Mujjo sleeve. Looks good too and considerably cheaper ($90 cheaper in my case).
Bottom line, if you don't want to destroy the iPhone 5's beauty with a case and don't mind spending the dough, I can't recommend this case enough. It even has a small opening at the back for a couple of cards and cash though I doubt I'll ever use it. I might do a more through review after a month or two of using it.
