Disclaimer : I do not belong to any company and my views are my own.

Just received the case last night. Ordered it Thursday morning, was shipped out on Friday and got it on Monday night. I live in Singapore. So that was pretty fast.

On to the case, the packaging was really basic. In a simple wheatish-coloured bag. Took out the case. First thing that jumped out at me was it's beautiful workmanship. The construction of it is just beautiful. I'll let the pictures do the talking for this one. Next thing was the leather. Distinct leather smell on it and the leather itself is just gorgeous. The fit was extremely tight at first but it loosened up to fit the iPhone 5 within the first couple of uses. Nope, the iPhone won't slide out if you held the sleeve upside down.

The only problem with this sleeve, or it is with all sleeves really, is you have to use 2 hands to take it out. Especially with a sleeve as snug as this. Left hand to hold the sleeve, right thumb to nudge the phone up a bit and right hand to take it out. So this might be a problem for anyone who is considering sleeves. Another issue might be the price. 55GBP + 25 GBP for shipping to Singapore. Cost me $157. Was it worth it? Well, it depends on the individual. I am a sucker for the finer things in life and I enjoy using something not everyone and they grandma are using. Everything about this sleeve just screams class while still being subtle. That being said, if the price turns you off but you would still want to get a sleeve, I'd recommend the Mujjo sleeve. Looks good too and considerably cheaper ($90 cheaper in my case).

Bottom line, if you don't want to destroy the iPhone 5's beauty with a case and don't mind spending the dough, I can't recommend this case enough. It even has a small opening at the back for a couple of cards and cash though I doubt I'll ever use it. I might do a more through review after a month or two of using it.

I agree that their products are the best.
Would an ip5 with desmay case fitted fit into this case?
    Thanks.

I doubt anything more than a screen protector would fit in. It is extremely tight.

Yep, it is. Did this mini review thing cos when I was considering purchasing one, there weren't much info or photos available other than on their website. Glad to have been of some help. ;)

Thanks, did you ever consider their other ip5 ip5 case with the felt wool?
Hard to make up my mind as they are both the same price, I would have though the feltwool would have been cheaper.

Yes, I did consider. But went with this one since it is full leather and also slimmer. And I dont need the extra space the wool sleeve provides since I am not using it as a wallet.

Thanks for the great review! Although you said you won't be using it as a wallet or using the card holder, do you have an idea of how many cards one could safely use the sleeve for with the iphone also? Thanks!

No problem! I am guessing you will have a problem with anything more than a couple of cards and a few notes. The wool case would be better if you needed more space.

I have just received this sleeve and can confirm that everything Sacred has stated is correct.
It arrived nextday delivery and is one of the highest quality sleeves I've ever owned. It is also very discreet and not bulky in any way.
I am actually considering buying their fold wallet. I've no doubts that this company makes extremely high quality products.

Best thing is, it gets better with age. Been exactly a week since I've started using it. It just looks better with all the marks and scratches on the leather, adds character. And even friends who couldn't fathom spending 150 bucks on a case all say it's gorgeous. Happy that you like your purchase Marco!

Sacred could you post the exact measurement of your hardgraft sleeve as I think mine may be to short and I'm worried that they may have sent me the iphone4 version.
    Thanks.

Personal opinion but I think brown goes really well with the white iPhone ;)

Sure. About 7.8cm (3 inches) wide and 13cm (5 inches) tall. But I should think yours would be an iPhone 5 version as the iPhone 4 version isn't even available from their website anymore. That said, there should be a bit of a gap at the top once your iPhone is fully in. It's a small gap but if you run your finger along the top edge of the sleeve, you shouldn't be able to feel the top of the iPhone.

Thanks for the dimensions Sacred, I didn't realise they stopped making an ip4 version.
Anyway those dimensions match mine so thanks again for all of your help.

I love this little sleeve so much that I'm hoping the next phone is a 5S so that I will be able to carry it over.
I wish people would spend that little more for high quality rather than making do with rubbish.

Hang in there! Only a week or less! :D

Pretty confident the new iPhone would be the 5S. Using the sleeve for 2 years. I guess that alone should justify the premium price. And yes, I can't stand ugly cases. Especially the boxy kind. But to each his own.

    Hello SacredSoul,

Thank you for taking the time to post your review of this leather case.

I was wondering if you might be willing to post a picture of your case showing a card and or cash in the pocket. I haven't found any pictures of the case utilizing it in this fashion.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Secondly, you had mentioned that this has been your favorite case/pouch so far. For some perspective, I was wondering what other pouches you have used and what about them that you didn't like as well as this one.

    Thanks again!

    i love this case!!!
it is a very 'snug' right now, but after a day or two, the leather should loosen up a little bit and it should be 'perfect.'

    THANKS SacredSoul! :D

I'll post the pics up later. Haven't really used the sleeve for cards or cash yet. There are pics on their website though :)

The 2 other leather cases I've used are the Sena ultraslim for the 3GS and the Vaja leather case for the iPhone 4. The Sena was OK but the leather was too grainy for my liking. But for the price, you can't go wrong with the Sena. Vaja's workmanship is amazing but I did notice a mark or two on the red interior right out of the box. That said, they still make beautiful cases though some might be too 'loud' for people with their funky colours.

Yep, it's a tight fit for the first couple of days and then you're set.
    No problem mate!

Actually, this is the All Grey version. The other colour is the brown one. They only have these 2 for the sleeve.
