If you absolutely can't spend over $200, get a 5830.
It depends on what PCB is used. No! Bad newbie! That's the abortion of the 5800 series, overvolted piece of cr*p.

The 5770 doesn't offer enough power at $150.
Oh joy, 800 shaders with lower performance compared to RV770.Saphire 5770 Vapor-X can with a nice overclock, which should do much since the Vapor-X chamber is perfect.

I purchased the Gigabyte 1 GB GTX 460 with the dual 80mm fans this morning just after the reviews went live and it was available on NewEgg. At this time all 1 GB GTX 460 models are sold out or unavailable on NewEgg.
It will just be one card for the foreseeable future. I've seen some reviews mention dead silent 900 MHz overclocks on this card too.No surprise there. I would have made the same choice too. Any plans to SLI in the future or are you a strictly one card man?

My current card is a 19 month old Radeon HD 4830.And that's why it's a win. With stock temps like the reviews show, I'd expect it to have a lot of headroom. It's a shame the initial fermi launch wasn't cards like the 460.
I've wanted to build another PC ever since I built a P4 with 9800 Pro rig many moons ago. Just have to talk the wife into it somehowEnjoy the card! What are you coming from?
I'm hoping for a GTX 460 or a 5850. It just depends on the reviews next week. XFX has been selling a 5850 model for $269 on NewEgg.
