Hardware League - MacRumors 2015 NFL Fantasy Football

Alright folks, it look like this league is going to have to run with 8 teams as we can't find a final team to fill our roster of 10. Sorry @furbzv1, but we won't be able to add you this year. So, let's talk draft date/time. This weekend is our final chance to draft and it's really how I prefer it since there are injuries in preseason. We've got some options so let's see what works best for the most possible folks. From what I know we don't have any European players in this league, but if I'm wrong please speak up and we will take the time difference into account.

Possible draft options include Friday night (9/4/15), Saturday (9/5/15), Sunday afternoon (9/6/15), Monday morning (Labor Day 9/7/15), or, at the latest, Tuesday evening (9/8/15). The first NFL game of the season is Thursday night 9/10/15. My preference would be Labor day morning, but that might not work for everyone.

I'm in for any day of the ones you selected. Just not too early in Labor Day (6AM-10AM CT), because I have a flight at that time.
 
I can't do Friday night. Anytime outside of 11am-3pm PT on Labor Day is okay for me. Saturday and Sunday are generally ok.
 
Okay, based on people's responses it looks like Saturday morning is the time that most folks can make it. So, with that being said, the draft will be Saturday morning, 9/6/15, at 10:30 AM US Central Time. This way it won't be too early for any of our West Coast folks.

Perfect. 8:30AM Pacific. Literally 2 hours before I usually wake up.

But that's ok. My players need to get up and get ready !!

Speaking of which. What is the draft order ? And why is it set manually ?

Shouldn't it be like the NFL. Last place team from last year gets first round #1 etc.

I randomly generate the draft order. Since our leagues are redraft each year and there is generally some turn over with owners/players then this makes for a fresh start each year. If we were a keeper league where players held over certain players from year to year then I would consider other options. Once I've generated the draft order I'll post it in the thread.

Thanks.. Now after looking at my past teams I'm glad it's not a keeper league.

Well I have to make a train so I would have to catch the earlier one so that means I'm also waking up an hour earlier than usual.
 
The teams are going to be loaded with just 8 players. :)

It would be great, but time is running out.

Not sure if @furbzv1 can also make it. And if @mscriv is able to make the change with so little time remaining for the draft.
 
Sorry folks, the draft was 10:30 this morning. We've had this thread up for weeks, bummer you didn't see it until too late. Maybe next year.
