It’s early on for me, but it might have. I was averaging 4% per hour. The last day or so it is closer to 3% per hour. I’ll see if it lasts.

Update: It is still using up about 3% per hour. This looks promising.

I have had theater mode turned on all day as I'm super busy at work, but it's been off the charger for 6 hours so far and I'm at 95%. This is an improvement over 6.0 for sure. I've done theater mode at work a few times and I generally go down about 2% per hour.

aw5 sbti. cell off, AOD on, normal notifications brightness turned down one notch with 6.01 now loaded. So far today just working, normal activity on for about 4 hours and down to 89%. Better than it was, but it's really just idling today. Will be hitting gym tonight running on cellular, streaming etc and thinking it'll drop fast.

I haven’t updated to 6.0.1 yet but I think it’s improved since even the 13.1 update. I took my series 4 off the charger at 5.50 am and it’s now 18:18 in the uk and I’m at 71 %.

S5 GPS+Cellular stainless

Usage: 49 min
Standby: 4 hr, 5 min
AOD on, black California face, sound monitoring off, background refresh on for only a few specific apps
Battery currently at 92%

Yes, substantially so. 6 hours off the charger now and i'm at 86%, roughly 2.3% per hour discharge with AOD on and normal usage. It's perfect. This is a 44mm S5.

Prior to these updates i was discharging at around twice that rate, upwards of 5% per hour. I would be nowhere near my current 86% remaining battery towards the end of my work day.

No, it's early days though for WatchOS 6.x and S4/S5 - I think the rev is significant since my S3 has non a non draining update.

Mixed results so far on 6.0.1. General usage has been good -- before my workout today I was
at 81% with 6h 45m Standby & 1h 8m Usage -- so under 3% per hour which is a little better than I often saw on my S4.

The workout burned more batter today than usual, after cleaning up I was at 49% with 7h 51m Standby & 2h 5m Usage. Typically I'll see 20-25% battery loss on a 45 minute outdoor run without my phone, so GPS + cellular streaming music to bluetooth headphones.

Be interesting to see how the next couple of days go.

(I did the update midafternoon yesterday so the watch had the rest of yesterday and overnight to finish any syncing it felt it needed to do)

Mine is much better. Been off the charger since 630am and I am at 91% and I get alot of notifications on my watch and it’s cellular. Very pleased with the improvement.

No it hasn’t made any difference.

Awaiting watchOS 6.1 hopefully within the 14 day period otherwise I’ll return it.

With 6.0.1's release yesterday and only a single beta for 6.1 so far, it's unlikely we'll see 6.1 released in the next week or so -- probably closer to the end of the month based on when we saw 4.1 and 5.1 releases.

Think mine is improved...off charge at 7.30am and at 20.20 it’s on 29% left after a 40 minute workout as well...

it should last me til i go bed at 23.00 so for that it properly does it’s job. It’s better than it was before the update

Seems to have improved mine as well, it's been about 7 hours since removing it from charging and I'm at 72%. One workout.

S5 40mm, cellular (not activated). AOD on.

To update... current stats:

Usage: 1 hr, 22 min
Standby: 6 hrs, 28 min
Current battery level: 82%

I'm incredibly happy with that! And that's with AOD on (indoors, mostly in a dimly lit room, FWIW).

Mine is rethinking must the same as yours and. I have 82%. By this time of the day yesterday I was at 63%.

I’m at 87% in 4.5 hrs! Really great battery so far compared to the previous os version.

With 6.0 out of the box, I was getting at least all day use out of my S5. Installed 6.0.1 yesterday and checking now, with the watch off the charger around 8am, I'm sitting at 74% - more than adequate for my use.

S4 in Theatre Mode and Airplane Mode. I do this to test battery without external variables. Battery is performing well with this update. This is directly after installing update:
