If you dropped it on a HARD surface, was there any damage beyond scratches?

i've accidentally thrown mine twice... first time on a hardwood floor with an IS on it -- no damage. second time onto a carpet floor without an IS, again no damage. both times flew about 5 feet from 3 feet in the air. don't ask.

didn't believe that the shake to shuffle feature wasn't on the iphone and was just shaking the hell outta that think weren't ya?;)

I heard that someone dropped a Samsung Instinct the other day from 3 feet
onto soft carpeting and the thing flew apart into 38 pieces!!! :D
One of the pieces said "fischer price" on it, and another piece said "vista."

Mine is in a contour flick case, but I've already dropped it several times on to concrete. I wear hoodies with shallow pockets and it just falls out. No damage to the actual phone, but my case is pretty scuffed up.

Several times onto concrete, eh? And no damage. Hmmm. That's good to
hear that it is durable against an accidental drop. :)

Last friday. Outside on rock cement.

Here's a pic

Less than a week later, another girl at work dropped hers. Same thing happened, except hers was a little less of a mess.

Both of us had to pay for replacements. She bought a case this time. I'm still looking.
