That's crazy; the whole thing seems to be a complete farce! I knew I should have waited and either queued or just ordered from Apple! 🙁

I ordered at around 8:30. I ordered a 16GB phone. However i still have not recieved ANY emails from o2 and my order is still sat at in progress.

I have spoke to o2 twice now and they keep telling me it should be ok i'll get my phone on friday. and that my email confirmation may take up to 48 hours

Same and I rang and they confirmed July 11th delivery for me😀

I have just called them to try and confirm my order and have been told that I have passed all the credit checks without any problem but the guy wouldn't confirm that I will get my phone on Friday he just said that it depend on stock as to when I will get my iphone

Hmm, i just spoke to a customer service guy who tells me that my order is currently saying out of stock. Though apparently this doesn't mean that i won't get one on friday, just that it hasn't been allocated to me yet and i should find out within 24 hours.

However if you guys are saying you have had it confirmed that you are getting yours on friday i get the feeling i am being lied too and i am going to get an email telling me that mine is on back order.

I did point out to the guy on the phone how much of a cock up this whole process has been. Apparently he didn't think so, it was just because there was so much demand on the website. Well Duh!! What did they think all those people who pre-registered interest where going to do when they emailed them to say come and get your iphones.

So now we wait for the apparently automated process to churn through the applications till it reaches mine, joy!! I think they need to bring in more monkeys and typewriters!!
