I get Push Notifications from AIM. They are good, but there is one major problem, they dont function like a Text message would. If you leave your phone alone, they dont stay stuck to the home screen, and if you get a text afterwords they are gone. There is nothing on the lock screen to tell you that while you were gone you receive a AIM message. And the original message is gone once you receive any other sort of alert. Also, AIM takes forever to open, which makes push not all that great

how are you getting ones from aim, i thought they didnt support push yet, or do you have the dev version

Yes, it works on the iPhone and the iPod Touch. I also have a dev first-gen iPhone with no SIM card in it and only uses WiFi and it gets push notifications (assuming the device is not in a deep sleep, once it "wake up" I get my queued up push messages).
