Has anyone had any bad experiences with getting a Macbook Pro Refurbished from Apple?

Nope, it's the current gen 13" so it will very likely be available within two months. Check refurb.me for different models available, great site for refurb hunting!

Never had troubles. I've only bought Macbooks refurb, so no experience w/ MBP or any of the desktop machines. But the refurbs have always been good as new.
