Many threads with the downgrade. Anyone else upgrading?
Yup. I did it twice.
I got a 6 at launch. I was worried that the 6+ would be too big. I realized after I had held both that the 6+ was what I really wanted. Exchanged the 6 for a 6+.
My son wanted a 6+ and we needed to upgrade another line to give our old phones to the grandparents (to keep their bill low), and I couldn't find another 6+ for my son and he wasn't able to locate one either, so I told him I'd go back to the 6 and gave him my 6+. I regretted it before 24 hours were up. I bought another 6+ as soon as I could find it (took me 3 days to locate another 6+ in my area) and I went back to 6+.
My husband has a 6. He loves it. I prefer the 6+. The 6 is a nice phone, but once I'd used the 6+, I was hooked.

I meant upgrade as in size. I don't typically sit with a phone in the front pocket so this risk is minimal for me.
Eh. Ignore all the bendgate whining. I have used a 6+ for almost 3 weeks total and I haven't bent EITHER of the 6+ phones I used. I am sure one COULD bend, but I don't treat my expensive electronics like crap, either. I paid cash for my 6+ and I don't intend to act like it's anything other than the 1k phone it is.
That's the thing with the upgrade subsidies. They fool people into thinking something cost them a couple hundred bucks or so, and they don't really grasp how much that device is worth. If a phone is costing you as much as a laptop, are you going to treat it poorly? Not if you paid for it.
Now, some people will just treat it rough and buy another if there's an issue and they'll never complain about it. They can afford it. I can afford to replace a unit that I accidentally damaged if it isn't covered by AppleCare+, but I can't afford to replace an iPhone every other month because I was rough with it. Besides, I like handing mine down to the kids and/or selling them to help fund my newer model each year.

I plan to change from the 6 to the 6 Plus, if I can find one in stock before my 14 days are up. If I am lucky enough to find one, I will be putting a protective case on it right away.
Good luck finding a decent case. Ugh. The good case manufacturers need to step it up.
