No. They reduced their locked-in offer by $32. The form said it wasn't the condition I stated. My phone was about a year old and in a case the entire time with a protective film on the front. There wasn't a scratch on it. It was in perfect condition (and I also had Apple check it out first).

The system has no way you can ask a question or discuss this. It is either take it or leave it. At this late date I didn't want to have it shipped back and then sell it, so I did what most people probably do and accept the new lower amount.

On top of it, after I accepted this new amount, they sent an email saying it would be 14 days before they even cut the check. Originally the site said after 7 days you would get paid. I'll report back once I actually get my payment.

They are a little slow with payment, not horrible tho. I took about 5 days after it passed inspection to send the check, then another 5 until I actually got it.

Gazelle is awesome. They quoted me $272 for my 32g 3GS. 3 Days later their quote price on the site dropped to $200. I was fearing they would drop their offer or somehow lower their appraisal to bring my quote into line with their current offers but they did not. The paid me full price and while I was at it I threw three or 4 older aged devices in the box and got enough to evenly swap my 3GS 32g for a 32g iphone4...
can you make more.. sure if you want to ebay, I'm not an ebay person and I think craigslist is just a means to alert potential crooks to my home so I prefer the ease and security of just selling to Gazelle.com

I've also had an excellent experience with gazelle. Based on that I ended up using them three times. They are 100% reliable and very easy to work with. I'm more than happy to give up some profit for a fast, no hassle transaction.

Gazelle is great if you can lock in the price at the right time. I got $304 for my 3GS, which i locked in a couple of days before the 6/15 presale. Sent it in after I got the iPhone 4. no hassle. The phone even got a couple of minor hairline cracks they still honored me the full price for "perfect condition".

Gazelle notified me today that they have accepted my 3GS in the "good" condition I listed. It had some minor nicks in the chrome bezel and I didn't feel it qualified as "perfect". They promised to send my $299.20 check within 5 days.

I'm a happy camper!

This is what drives me crazy. I had a quote of $304 back before the 6/15 presale for a perfect condition 3gs 32mb. I waited until I had my new 4 and got the 3gs to them well within the 30 days deadline.

Several days ago they sent me an email notice that my phone was not in the condition represented so they were revising their offer to $272. I had no cracks or nicks or scratches - it was always in a full case with a face protector and then in my purse. There was no email address I could respond to, no phone number to discuss the matter. It was accept or reject the offer.

I had Apple check out the phone too.

I locked my 3GS sale price in on the day the iPhone 4 was announced.

I had a promo code bonus as well as the extra 5% bonus as I elected to receive payment in an Amazon gift-card.

Gazelle received my phone and agreed on the condition I stated ("Good") and paid me what they promised. I received $230 for my 16GB iPhone 3GS.

So I basically broke-even when I bought my iPhone 4 16GB.

Gazelle rocks!

My offer (quote) from Gazelle for my 3GS in "good" condition was $272. But I had a 10% coupon code that I put in at the time of my quote transaction with added $27.20 to the total, resulting in $299.20.
