has anyone squeezed 16 gb ram into the mini

I have read that the maximum ram is not always accurate. with that said has anyone even tried 16gb in the mini to see if it sees it.

Someone has: Mac mini 16 gb upgrade performance
Anyway, the 2011 Mac minis support up to 16 GB RAM.
