Has Anyone Taken Friday 3/11 Off or Requested a Half Day For The iPad 2?

I'll check online if they are still available when I wake up Friday morning. I'm not one for standing in line for much of anything these days.

Besides I'm pretty spoiled by the emptiness of the 5th Avenue Apple store around 7:00 a.m. and seeing more staff/apple goodies than customers.

Had the day off already as my son was coming in for a visit. This is double sweet. He and I camped out for the first iPhone and this will be our first return engagement since then. He turns 21 in May and the iPad 2 is what he wants. Can't wait fir Friday!

I'll be leaving work about 3:30 or 4 and heading to the closest Apple store which is about 10 min away. I don't care to wait in line much but I can live with an hour. If they are sold out of the 32 GB wifi in black, I'll just order it online and get it when it comes.
