Because it's now on my main screen.

The default "simple" calendar app was on your main screen when you took it out of the box new. If it was no longer there, it was because you moved it. The picture posted a few replies back clearly shows it as the second icon on the home screen.

It's strange that i get such very "STUPID" replies. Many i surly don't need or want.
What happened to the moderator of this forum?

So what did you end up doing? Did you follow the directions to move the default calendar app back to the main screen or did you spend $3 to get a new calendar app?

You said you wanted the following:
I think the problem is i am not being understood, yes the calendar is somewhere on my phone. And yes Siri on the far left is suggesting the simple calendar.
And i can touch it and bring it to screen.
But i want to move it to my main screen, not keep having to swipe to the left and see what Siri is suggesting.
I feel it should already be on my main screen when i bought the phone brand new.
The solution to which is simply to move the Calendar app to your home screen, is it not?

I just can't with this anymore... I'm out. Good luck with all your calendar related endeavours.

@digitalcuriosity , Ok, I think I've found what you need. Print off this image and then tape it to the back of your iPhone. It's almost free (minus cost of ink, paper, and tape), and you can swap it out monthly. Problem solved!

Am I right, @andyp350 , @C DM , @dangerfish , @convergent , @ultravisitor ?

If one just looks back through all the posts of mine and replies i received, you will quickly notice some tried helping me,others were not so helpful.
Anyway the problem of missing calendar is now solved.

You're calling the others' replies stupid? I did read all the replies. Most of the first page was total disbelief that you were asking the question. Your replies conflicted with each other.

One of your replies complained that Apple should have put the calendar icon on the home page so you didn't have to use search to find it. Someone posted a picture of the default home page showing the calendar icon. Clearly you moved it and must not remember doing it. Rather than just saying "oops, I guess I moved it", you persist with your story and then insult the others here.

I never moved it into a folder, and had no idea it was hidden in a folder. On another forum people quickly knew it must be in a folder.and i just did not understand.
They were helpful in solving my problem.
