Third party vs built in.. I prefer built in. These features are decent things to have standard on Macs. Again, Maps is a tiny application.

Yeah, I never updated from 10.6.8 on my Mini because I hated using Lion at work, so never bothered upgrading. But the combined starting to see apps stop supporting SL and the free price for Mavs, I went ahead and upgraded last night.
It hasn't been so bad so far. I was reminded of a few things I hadn't liked about Lion, mainly the finder and little things like hidden user Library, but overall it hasn't been bad. I'll probably end up sticking with it since I won't have to worry about a lack of SW support.
