Has the iPhone increased sales for iMac and MB?

Not necessarily me getting an iPhone that made me want a Mac.

I got an iPhone, came to this website. This website made me want a Mac

Haha, yeah, this website does tend to make me think about buying more apple stuff.

My 1st Gen iPhone definitely made me want to switch to Mac, and surely enough, once I had enough money, I bought a MacBook right when they were redesigned last October. Now I have a 3GS and even more money going to Apple

After owning my original iPhone, I purchased an iMac 3 months later.. a year after an iPhone 3G and then the Aluminum MacBook, so definitely. I wouldn't have thought about a Mac before I purchased my iPhone.

I bought my first iMac about 4 years ago, just got an iPhone last week.

I got the iPhone 3G in July 08 and a month later bought a Mac Mini to get into iPhone Development... a month later and Rogue Vertex was done.

Then, in January of this year, I replaced my aging windows laptop with this macbook pro :x

Now I wish I could replace my gaming PC with a mac, but that just isn't practical.

So yes... the iPhone converted me to Mac.

I looked heavily at Mac's before the iPhone was out. I bought 2 Dell laptops and instantly regretted it. I would say that it was more of the iPod/iTunes that made me want a Mac. I bought an iPod, about a year later the iPhone came out and I got one. A few months later I got an Apple TV. This spring I finally realized part of my dream and got an iMac. I need one of the Dell's to suffer a horrible death so I can get a 13" MBP, but I can't justify it at this time as all I do is surf the web on the Dell and it does that just fine. Soon though. Now I just keep watching the updates and thinking "my next computer is getting nicer..."

The iPhone was my first mac proudct I ever owned. I have wanted to buy some kind of mac computer just so I could fool around with making apps for the darned thing. I will say I want a MacBook air for looks, and I would load windows 7 as the default os

The iPhone was like a gateway drug for me. It was so impressive that I took the leap to a 15" Unibody and now have all kinds of stuff (Dual Band Time Capsule, etc.) around the house. I will never go back.

I bought the very first iPhone on July 6 2007. A week later I bought a MacBook Pro at BestBuy.

I had been reading about how the Mac had this app called iPhoto that worked so well with the iPhone. I hated the way my Windows computer synced photos to the iPhone so I went and got the MacBook Pro.

We eventually also bought an iMac, a black MacBook and a Mac Pro. Without the iPhone, there would be no Macs here. Both of the notebooks have been sold last summer.

Windows Vista is what prompted me to switch over to an iMac. I had an HP laptop that died 1 month out of warranty I'm guessing due to overheating which Vista definitely contributed to with its maxing the CPU out sitting idle sometimes.

Having an Mac now though now I'm going to be getting a 3Gs soon and hopefully get do a little iPhone app development if I can find the time.
