so in case you haven’t heard, it’s a thing. I’m expecting to see a higher than avg sample saying yes here but let’s see.

BRIDGE OS seems to be the culprit according to the link you posted, but the2018 MBP is sold with MOJAVE OS. Sorry, but I'm confused. Here

And I am expecting that in general these forum readers are the ones having problems so they’ll ring in at a higher frequency. We’ll see!

I had one KP due to BridgeOS 15 days after purchase on my 13" model, was asleep overnight not connected to anything except power and when I lifted the lid in the morning I saw the KP. It is now a little over a month old and haven't had anymore. I did turn off all security options since then as I wanted to do a clean install to Mojave using USB and didn't want issues.
So far so good but each time I lift the lid I hope I haven't had another kp.
Have you been able to turn them back on? Otherwise are you willing to sacrifice the security as a "solution" to the problem?
It would seem that some are, and its hard to know. I am sitting right next to two of them, 2.9 ultimate config stock models that have not had a single issue, one was bought on day 1 and the other about a month old. Running Premiere editing 4k video 14 hours a day and doing misc other photo work etc.So, what's the bottomline? Are some 2018 MBPs totally immune to this problem? Otherwise, how can one buy one of these knowing such issue?
How can we check if we had KP?
Where do they registre?
