Nope, calling apple for a second replacement/fix tomorrow, getting at least 10 random beachballs a day :(

My 15" i7 MacBook Pro has been perfect. It's my first Mac laptop.

I've had it for almost 24 hours now!

Started having random lag spikes on games so I went to apple and they said they needed to replace the hard-drive, took them a week to order in the new parts and apply to fixes. Drove 2 hours to pick the laptop up again, then 2 hours home, only to find that during the replacement they had somehow corrupted the RAM. Made the 2 hour trip again and explained the problem to the 'genius' who merely ignored my suggestions and treated me like an idiot . Came back to me after an hour of fiddling and told me that the problem was corrupted RAM after all >_<. He replaced the RAM on the spot and then it was fine for a few months, until it suffered water damage from a bottle of water in my backpack :(. Took it to the apple store again and had to pay to get the logic board replaced, and when I received the laptop back from repair the control key was not working. Another trip later and they told me they would need to replace the entire upper case, and I would have to come back another day. A week later I collected it and its been fine for the past few months. Total of 20+ hours travelling

Very disappointed with this machine and Apples choice of words whenever I bring it in, I take good care of my stuff but they always suggest otherwise.
Unfortunately Apples corporate culture breeds arrogance. It begins with Steve Jobs, and the choice of giving their in store techs the title of "GENIUS". I've had the same experience in the store. I find it both amusing & highly out of place. Who do they think their fooling?

every company does that. they are trying to get you to say something that will void your warranty. every time i go to the Verizon store i get the people trying to say its my fault. all you got to do is bee like ready to argue and go all the way to the manger and be like "i'll leave and go to at&t. then i could have an iphone instead of this s&*((% droid." that shuts them up real quick. them people in there are all about the droids. they start getting offended and angry at you if you talk about they're droids man. its funny.

i cant do a fresh install, it always gives me an error :(. but other than that its been perfect, except for the wifi dropping out issue but that was due to the router i had. so i returned it and got a better 1 and the problem went away.

My Mac has served me well since I got it in July last year. I can't imagine going back to my old PC now :D. No complaints; all h:apple:ppy here!
