I've got a 15" Macbook Pro Core i7 with Hi-Res Antiglare screen, no changes to anything else.

No problems so far...been running really well and has a nicer feel than my old 15" Macbook Pro Core2Duo 2.8GHz Antiglare

Screen looks awesome on the new one too! Love the high-res

Yeah, the glossy LED display is to die for:D

I've been using my MBP for a year and change and had no issue other than some minor software problems.

Unfortunately no. I was cleaning the screen with iKlear, wiped off my keys and trackpad with the grey microfiber cloth they recommend to use and my logicboard suffered liquid damage. I'm really skeptical whether or not it's worth the $755 + tax to get it fixed. I turned it in yesterday, thinking my warranty would cover it since it's less than a year old, but they said I may get charged that price if it's severaly damaged. Also they said I should expect a $100+ fee for sometype if test. Any recommendations on what I should do?

Has your MacBook or MacBook Pro been 100% perfect since you purchased it?

I brought mine 4 months ago and there have yet to be any problems:D

2 weeks - keyboard/trackpad has stopped responding once, 2x no wakeup from sleep (require power cycle) and one crash.

I spilled an entire iced latte directly into the keyboard of my old black macbook, and it still runs perfectly. Not sure how a little iKlear could damage the logicboard that badly.

I've had mine for a little over 24 hrs now, and it's been perfect. I'm pretty upset that I didn't switch earlier, but just recently I've had enough money to buy a new computer.

My new machine (specs in sig) is flawless. I love it and is by far the fastest (and best) machine I have ever owned.

Yes ~~~~~~~~~~~

In the last year we have bought three 2009 MBP's and one 2010 MBP and all have performed magnificently. Even though I'm a geek I don't expect perfection.............. I often get a chuckle over from the various 'trivial' complaints on this site.

cheers

I just plugged in my MacBook Pro after short usage in the garden on battery.
I was going to start a new thread, explaining my current predicament, but I saw this topic at the top, so I'll post here instead.

So far, I've had two freezes, one was while watching a low quality avi file in VLC in OS X, and the second was yesterday while 'watching' the intro of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

I unplugged the MagSafe and USB devices and brought my computer outside to the table, while grilling. I was doing some light browsing, using the intel graphics card, and iTunes running in the background.
Suddenly FireFox went stopped responding and it showed that loading mouse cursor, I tried to hide the dock, but it got stuck. Out of anger I closed the lid and left it inside. Later I checked if it will still stuck, and it wasn't. I could use FireFox and the dock was working fine, but I couldn't click in the top menu at all, and it had the loading cursor there... Once I plugged it in the MagSafe, everything was fine, as if nothing had happened.

I'm rather unhappy was the current problems I'm having, after paying this much for a laptop, I expect there wouldn't be any problems.
There's also a rather annoying bug with the option key when I boot into windows. I cannot have my ethernet cable plugged in when doing it. Or nothing happens from holding down alt.

Edit: Apparently, now my dock has lost it function to magnify when hovering over it. Even though the preference for magnifacation is ticked.

Ok guys. Now, answer this::

Has you last WINDOWS computer been 100% perfect since purchase?

Last windows computer was an HP with Vista, just used it for 3 months and the motherboard melted, then HP told me it was my fault because I didn't saw that the fan wasn't working properly... So I trashed that piece of junk and bought a Santa Rosa whitebook... then replaced that baby (that worked extremely good for 26 months) for this beautiful 15" i5, best computer I've ever had so far...
