my 13" macbook pro was ordered last Thursday and is in transit and will be here this Thursday by 4:30pm. (in the U.S.)
U.K. - MBP 15" i7, HR AG LCD, HD 7200, & neoprene sleeve
Order Placed: 19th April
Shipped: 26th April
Est. Del: 11th May
I've just received the shipping confirmation![]()
Does the 11th May estimated look like an average timescale for a U.K. delivery?
Seeing a few of the "problem" topics here I was wondering what is the deal with returning if I find faults?, (I'm crossing my fingers until it arrives). I'm a little worried as I'm U.K. based and don't have an Apple Store anywhere near me....Do you have to send the notebook back first or is a replacement sent to be swapped? I would be beyond annoyed if I had to enter into a cycle of waiting for weeks for the next replacement.
I'm guessing any problems are magnified here, so its only a very small percentage of machines that have quality issues?
See whats happened? now that I know its on its way, I'm actually starting to panic about getting a lemon. Lets see what I'm like opening the box!![]()

I hope this is a gross overestimation. The destination is listed as my own suburb, so I assume they are shipping it directly to my house, but why is it going to take so long? Packages from Asia delivered express take four business days (max).
A friend got a mbp 10' with a serious ding on the laptop. They email you something you can glue to the box to send it back. When it gets scanned, they send your replacement. Yours doesn't need to arrive to apple before they send out the replacement.
Ha you all think it's been a long wait for your mbp? I ordered mine on the 16th and it still hasn't prepared to ship.

Ordered 15'' i7 Glossy high-res, 4GB ram on the 22nd, has yet to ship (located in USA).
UK here, my UPS status has just changed. Delivery Today!!! I ordered on refresh day.
This is fantastic, couldn't be happier. Although is mighty crap that il get the MBP AFTER my graphic design exam. Lmao.
when did you get your tracking number? Mine has been shipped on Saturday but I don't have a tracking number just yet? I have one additional itemif it makes a diff? Based in uk too it was a CTO
I ordered on the 14th, with en ETA 28th/29th and status "Merge in Tnst NL Til", got the shipping confirmation on the 24th with an ETA of May 11th. Today, I called Apple Store Support, and was told that, as far as she knew, it and many similar CTO orders actually haven't been shipped out of China, since they are having many delays with flights to Europe. FML
Also, something I never really thought about until now. Since it is being shipped directly to my address. For the Australians who have ordered MBPs from overseas via Apple Online (Australian) store, did you have to pay any tax?
I assumed that the MBP would be shipped to an Apple store in Sydney or Chatswood, and then to me. Since it's well over 1000AUD, will I be taxed by this as per usual?
