My first MBP was ordered at 4pm, dispatch email received at 9pm and delivered before 10am the next day. That was amazing. Not quite as quick this time.

What's not clear is if any of the BTO have even been processed yet... I'm in that boat as well (15in i7 Hires Glossy 8GB ram 500gb @ 7200)

Mine was the default Core i5 2.4Ghz 15" model. No BTO options.

I have the same config as you and ordered at the same time. Hoping it comes Friday but I'm doubtful. Does anyone know if the expedited shipping means Saturday is an option?

^^^ I was wondering the same...I have expedited shipping as well. I ordered the drive @ 5400 rpm and realized that was dumb, so I called them yesterday afternoon and changed it to 7200 rpm. I even asked the guy if I could overnight it at all or make the shipping faster bc Im a student and my old laptop broke last week. He said since the computers just got released yesterday, it's hard to see it coming on Friday but they're doing everything they can. That crushed my hopes for Friday. But I am wondering if they do deliver on Saturday?

Ordered my base 15", no special anything, with next day shipping at 15:45 PST (yesterday) and my order still says prepared for shipping with an est. arrival date of April 14 or 15. It's obvious it won't be today.

My 15" has now been shipped. ETA = before 15:00 on the 15th

Work for a apple reseller in ireland and have been checking to see when we will get the new pros. Been told dey have just been shipped to ireland today and poss have dem for sale by tomorrow or friday. they of course will be the base models of each size but not 100% on ones that are specially built for customers.
