Mine caught up with you somewhere, I have same 'Shipped from Originated Depot' at 18:12 but mine was 'Picked Up' 8 hours later than yours. :)

eenu what output does apecode give you?

Quick update having spoken to Apple this morning. It *has* actually arrived in the UK and although the TNT site doesn't show it, it's with them now. She said it's showing for delivery on Wednesday, but the likelihood is that it will be tomorrow. I suppose that's to allow for all of the internal handling at TNT, loading onto a van etc.

So... that's still good news as worst case it will be Wednesday but earlier is also a possibility. :D

Mine still says;

Pick up date 08 Jun 2007
Destination Manchester
Delivery Date
Signatory
Date Time Location Status
08 Jun 2007 22:45 Shanghai Shipped From Originating Depot
08 Jun 2007 22:23 Shanghai Consignment Received At Transit Point
08 Jun 2007 15:08 Shanghai Consignment Picked Up

I spoke to TNT who said that it could be out for delivery today! It was loaded onto an aircraft on the 9th and the operator said that there is no reason why it shouldn't be in the UK now  i'm in work today :(

Not very good about updating their system are they?! At any rate yours left Shanghai earlier than mine so I wouldn't be surprised if you get it today. For comparison, mine 'shipped for originating depot' at 18:12 on the 10th. It's gonna be a long day of work for you I'm afraid! ;)

when did yours ship? the 8th?

i think ill ring apple at dinner time in my lunch break and ask em where mine is.
TNT, Apecode, apples order status all say nothing. but have had the confirmation email that it has been dispatched on the 8th (just!) and today i got the invoice.

do you just phone the number on the confirmation email?

OK this is a bit worrying the apple site says "In Transit to Customer - Shipment Delayed" and using tnt.co.uk tracking it now says:

********* details
Consignment 269******
Pick Up Date 10/06/2007
For more information about this consignment, please call TNT INTERNATIONAL or our Call Centre free on 0800 100 600

Anyone else got the same?

I'm at work and haven't had a chance to call.

My apple status page says shipment delayed and my tnt page says :

Code:
10 Jun 2007 18:12 Shanghai Shipped From Originating Depot
09 Jun 2007 13:57 Shanghai Consignment Received At Transit Point

So I really don't know what's going on.

Mine looks to be on the same shipment (my 'Shipped from Originating Depot' is the same as yours) but my apple status page puts mine on schedule. Strange.

well its been two days since mine supposedly shipped, but it seems no one can track it or has any record of its movements. TNT keeps saying not found, apecode draws a blank, apples order status is super vague saying only that its shipped.

Yeh I had to wait just over 48 hours for mine to be able to be tracked. If on the Apple status page your 'Carrier tracking number' and the 'Our delivery reference number' are the same, you just need to keep waiting. Eventually the Carrier tracking number will change and you should be able to track with TNT.

My CTO 2.2 15.4 has yet to show up on any of the tracking sites; apecode, tnt or iec-logistics.

I did get the 'shipped' email late in the evening of the 8th (and a text message on Saturday morning!), my invoice arrived this morning.

Because I also ordered a printer my shipment is going to merge in the UK. My scheduled delivery date is the 20th. This talk of laptops arriving in the UK early this week has my hopes up, but I know that it'll take about 48 hours from arrival in the UK to get to me.

I'm presuming that the shipment from China goes to Arnhem in the Netherlands before shipping overland to the UK - can anyone with tracking info confirm if they've got this far yet?

i have to say im quite disappointed at the time its going to take just to recieve it. i mean we payed a premium price for a premium product.... you'd think they might back this up with premium delivery :D

heck they seem to do everything else right, their telephone people are very nice to talk to.

Well according to someone earlier in the thread, his laptop which shipped on the 8th is already in the UK.

i think there is one or two here who are pretty confident that theirs is now in the UK. i think one guy phoned TNT or apple and they said its defo in the UK so the trickle is starting. hopefully it turns into a torrent pretty soon :D

Hmm mine shipped on the 7th and I just got off the phone with TNT 1 minute ago and it is at Pudong International Airport but is still coming for delivery on wednesday...

Mine is merging in NL (shipped 9th), just got off the phone with apple, they told me, they ship the MBP first to NL, merge it, and than handle it to TNT/UPS.

Expected 18/19 for me on the website, but they said it proberbly comes 15th. So hopefully my MBP joined all the others in yesterday's flight *apple can't say that, but the person i called sounded like a big n00b*.

It was me - and it was Apple that I spoke to. Apple in turn spoke to TNT while I was waiting. There were a number of us that had the same departure date/time all headed for the UK, so it seemed a reasonable conclusion that theirs was also in the UK. Unfortunately it's not a certainty - there doesn't seem to be a lot of logic in their shipping process!

FWIW, my TNT tracking details still haven't updated. The Apple tracking page does now show the 'carrier tracking number' though. I'm comfortable that the information I was given is correct, i just think the web takes some time to update.

im gonna ring em at dinner time, see what the score is. none of the tracking options available show anything. hopefully they are just slow on the update and my MBP is winging its way toward me.

i made the mistake of ordering from the school book store and not apple's online store. macbook pros are backordered, and i have no idea when i'll get mine.
