Tons of people complain about the Apple tax for extra GB storage. You're trying to justify the iPhone X price by comparing it to the maxed out storage models of older iPhones. Saying the iPhone X is only $50 more than last year's model is just plain false.

Probably not. But when somebody thinks about an additional $130 for something they're paying for regarding a smart Phone, that can be considerably a significant price difference.

Ok, so my 6s Plus was 128gb at $949, and I’m paying $50 more for 64gb less storage. Fine, I’m getting less for more if storage is my only consideration (it’s not my only consideration: I think the changes/improvements/differences are worth the extra cash, and at these prices, it’s not a whole lot more). Whatever...sorry for being just plain false. 🙄

Most I know are impressed but simply aren’t bothered about upgrading their phone every year.
This. Lots of folks I know think it is nice, but aren't as nutty about gizmos as I am.
I buy my cars used, and drive them into the ground, but for some reason I just looove paying the depreciation on phones.
