hate new finder view options

how do i view my stuff arranged by kind in the old view? when i arrange by kind now it does this stupid little coverflow thing 🙁

Apple made this one very complicated:

1. Choose "Arrange by: None"
2. Press and hold Alt
3. Right click in a blank space in the finder, while still holding Alt
4. Choose Sort by: Name/Modified/Whatever
5. Let go of Alt, done!

In that cover flow view, you can click "show all" to make it all fit in the window. I don't think there is a permanent show all option, which really makes it kind of pointless for me.
