I've been using nothing but iMovie 11 and EyeTV 3 for my gaming channel. It's all you need. I'm looking forward to Final Cut Pro X though.

You sir are a steely eyed missile man! That's what I needed to know. And if it works for iMovie 11, it'll work for BTV or anything else that can see the video stream (I believe).

is anyone editing videos recorded using HDPVRCapture with Final Cut Pro X?

If so, after making your edits, can you just save file and good to go, or do you need to export/reconvert the file (long process)?

if you have the right cables then you are set. the HDPVR does not need much in terms of CPU/GPU. i use a 2010 macbook air Core 2 duo at 1.86ghz and the integrated 320m(256 vram) and have no problems recording live from my xbox. i also use EyeTV to record, and it works flawlessly!
