I ordered launch day about 15 minutes after preorders started. It would have been sooner, but I wasted time trying to get the Apple Store app to come online.
I ordered my iPhone X 256GB Space Gray T-mobile on apple.com on October 27th. People who got the date 17-24 are all getting shipped now... But mine isn't.... I am leaving the states on 17th, so I hope I get it earlier. my order number starts with W577. Is there anyone like me who got the date 17-24 on October 27th and still is in order in progress?

It did the same thing to me!
I had placed two orders within a few minutes of each other. One (2:19AM) says "Preparing to Ship" and the other (2:22AM) still says "Order in Progress". Date range for both hasn't changed. Range is till 11/17 - 11/24.
Well it's 5AM in China right now, maybe someone will come to work at the customs desk and put our phones on a freakin plane already....
My order just got updated to Preparing to Ship too!! YAAAASSS! Hopefully, it ships soon. My new iPhone X case is sitting at home alone waiting...
How many days usually are between Preparing to Ship and Shipped?

with the exception of giving in and getting an 8+ I’m in the same boat. Loyal to Apple 12+ years now never been disappointed. The Apple store being down until 3:18 Eastern certainly screwed me out of a launch day delivery. Was up at 2:40 am and the store had been down since around 9 pm night prior I had noticed.

Chinese export customs can be a stumbling block....and have been known to cause delays...here's hoping they release your batch soon!!!
If it helps, Apple sent me my email confirm that it received and would start processing my order 10/27 at 12:16 AM. I ordered my phone around 12:11 AM.

I didn't get an email from Apple telling me that my order was now being prepared for shipment, but when everyone on the previous page starting posting about it, I went to check and saw that the status was updated.
Hope everyone gets the same change soon.

64GB Silver ATT Next placed on 10/27 at 12:21AM PST. Delivery 11/17-11/24. Yesterday 11/6 my credit card was charged and changed to Preparing to Ship around 11am. Last night it changed to shipped around 11:30pm MDT never got delivery date from UPS but apple shows 11/16. Today it is showing in customs so hopefully will get a delivery date soon.

Order #W505, Verizon 64GB Silver, IPU, ordered immidiatly after, shipped 11-3, estimated arrival Thursday (currently stuck in Louisville, KY). Hopefully no further delays! Crazy how much difference 1 day in shipping can make on the receiving end.

My order of 2 phones in the 17-24 range got shipped and is now waiting at Incheon for a plane! Delivered by the 10th.
My :22 order confirmation, 256 ATT silver paid in full is seeming closer and closer
My card was charged Sunday night to Monday. It’s now 3:45pm Tuesday and I still have seen no progress. I finished my pre order at 12:15pm and I ordered a 256 Silver Att Next. Really irritated because all my friends ordered at the same time as me with a delivery date of 11/17-11/24 like me, but they all get their phones by the end of the week while I’m still stuck on Order in Progress. They are on iPhone upgrade program though, so I’m sensing some in house favoritism on how it was purchased.
I've seen no movement on my order W42 which was 8 minutes after Store opened. Space Gray 256GB, Not with any carrier because it's Australia.
Just sitting there with delivery for 14-21st Nov.
No stores even have them in stock according to Apple, and even if they did it's a very long drive anyway.
Seeing lots of people get theirs off carriers and orders bumped, and I'm just sitting around refreshing wait for it to change from Order in Progress

You'll get it on the 10th. UPS has a much better idea than apple at this point...
This is getting ridiculous. Still at "Order in Progress" with a hold of the money on my bank account. Just take the damn money Apple and get my order in motion! Wow, just wow.
So I cancelled the order and got one in an Apple Store just now! I know this doesn’t help those in Pre Order hell, but I’m glad to be using it now. Pretty cool phone thus far! Feels like a natural step in the evolution of all things that begin with “i”
