We shouldn’t expect any movement today, right? I didn’t think UPS worked on Sunday.
Also, if I’m tracking flights correctly, the next flight from Korea to Alaska isn’t supposed to depart for another 11-12 hours.

This type of movement is encouraging. Did you by chance have your order initially labeled as reserved because Apple couldn't connect with ATTs servers?? That is what happened to me but i was initially quoted a 1-2 weeks to ship time frame that turned in to more like 3 to 4 weeks after they officially processed my "reserved order" later that day.

Exactly. Why get up Inthe middle of the night to have to wait 3 weeks or more while they have bumped other orders and suppplied the retail channel.

So, after more than 2 weeks in OIP hell with absolutely no movement on my order (11/17-24, ATT, SG256, IUP, no CC charge) I finally decided to cancel the order and take my chances with finding a phone for pickup at an Apple Store. I checked availability this morning at 6:00 and saw that there was one available, but Apple’s website wouldn’t take my cancellation request for some reason. Maddening! I then called Apple Support and the woman I spoke with (Amy) was not only able to cancel my order but she helped me with putting through a new order, all the time keeping an eye on availability at the several Apple Stores in my area, as supply was dwindling while we were going through the process. It ended up that all the available store pickups (4 of them, in different stores) were snapped up, despite my having one “in the bag” at the start. But even though the outcome didn’t turn out in my favor, I was encouraged by this, and I feel pretty confident that I’ll be able to snag an iPhone X sometime this week. I was really impressed with Amy’s helpfulness (she even said that she would stay on the phone as long as I wanted to help me find a phone)—maybe the best customer support experience I’ve ever had.

My order is finally shipping tomorrow! Pre-ordered on the 27th with a project 12/1 ship date. It was changed to 11/15 as of now. I'm a little worried hearing about all these delays. Hope you all see movement soon!

Shipped but delayed?

Yup. It's stuck in Korea. Contacted apple and they said they're not sure why it's delayed and don't know when it will be able to come to the U.S.

Estimated delivery used to be 11/14 but that has disappeared for several days now. Got to Korea about 4 days ago. No movement since then.

So after 5 days of sitting in Korea, but UPS still telling me I was “In transit: On Time” with delivery of 11/3, all of the sudden the status changed to just “In Transit” and delivery date unavailable. *braces for some really bad news*

My iPhone says “no signature” required for delivery. I’ve always had to authorize deliveries without signature for iPhones and Apple watches. It seems a little odd since this is Apples most expensive phone.

At least y’all are hopeful still coming. Mine was stolen at UPS. I did order thru T-Mobile on 11/3 and was shipped 11/8. Silver 64gb.

Mine said the same thing but I still had to sign. Don't worry.

I agree. It seems that there is little to no advantage for most people in going with the preorder route. I will just visit an Apple or AT&T store next time around.
