ATT sucks. I'm so glad that I canceled my pre-order with an 11/17-11/24 delivery, due to Apple not being able to communicate with ATT and giving me a reservation 12 minutes after X sales started. I was in this group, but picked one up in the launch day line instead and then canceled the pre-order.
I'm so sorry guys. Apple should be ashamed of themselves that people here are still waiting and others who didn't pre-order have their phones already. And a lot of people who did pre-order, and got stuck in a reservation with the 11/17 and later delivery date, got phones at the store and canceled like me.
mine too still says 9/14. Well. So much for mychoice, having it my way, quantum viewing, global tracking, & all those other tools they sell us, shove down our pie hole, and tell us to use----until we actually need them...
Sorry... I'm getting crankier by the minute. We are those die-hard customers who order year after year what do they expect. Yea I know it's not the 17-24th yet but still, this is totally wack. PLUS, people are just walking in and getting them. So much for staying up for a preorder next time. I've preordered it every time, never been like this.

11/17-11/24 ordered from AS when some comms w/ ATT STB I got a 'reservation' that didn't get finalized until noonish.. Looks like Apple took the money today and changed mine to Preparing for Shipment.. I put my 'order' in at 2:02 CDT (GST-6) after a killer Prophets of Rage show so I'm already tilted and it would be a nice gesture to put that iPhoneX in my hands this week.

I went to Preparing to Ship last Saturday, and then shipped yesterday as soon as this email came out. Why would I get a UPS tracking number if they are switching to FedEx? Doubt either shipping company would be ok with that.
I hear some people have kits sent to them, so they can send their old phone back to ATT as part of their upgrade program along with talk of FEDEX. That's why I asked what your deets are. For me here in Vegas, Apple also ships FEDEX esp when ordering from their online store--for regular items, Airpods, apple pencil, cases etc...and sometimes iPhones too.
Your screenshot looks familiar to me. When I preordered my very first applewatch (1) @ launch I had that same red status. My watch went on this same course we're all watching now--except it went to the Apple headquarters (tracking turned RED) then changed shippers and was sent FEDEX from California to my address.
As far as partners shipping when one logistics changes to another at a central dispersal unit, like FEDEX does with USPS for example.
That said, I am not turning in my phone as part of my upgrade, so not really sure about that, but in this forum, I am hearing some folks are sending their phones back.
I thought I'd seen it all until I saw the "no signature required" along with my tracking info so nothing is surprising me.

The delivery date for my phone stuck in Incheon since 11/9 has gone from 11/14 to 11/16 It left Zengzhou on 11/7!
No excuse UPS for this kind of lousy service.

Is anyone tracking the flights? Pretty sure there’s only a few UPS flights from Korea to Alaska over the weekend. I wouldn’t expect any movement until maybe the next flight which is scheduled in about 45min-1hr.
Same here! Mine is being shipped via fedex and it’s the same Status as yours. Also, I got mine via Apple upgrade plan for the first time. I’m not sure why folks are saying it has the return kit. I have nothing to return.
frustrating. i am pretty sure it is either apple holding these deliveries to work on the green lines on the phone, or phone not responding in cold conditions or something issues they found out, before more people complain about it online.

You think it’s possible that they are fixing issues with the phone in Korea? That sounds like a conspiracy theory.
Your delivery estimate is 17-24 .I think it's a little early to be suspicious of a cover-up

Could be they know something is wrong with a batch or lot and are stopping them.
Who knows.
It is not CONSPIRACY to think that a global giant (or any business owner for that matter) wouldn't attempt to mitigate their losses by stopping a shipment of product they knew to be faulty before it got in our hands. Especially if there’s bad press involved.

I'm in the same boat... Or airplane. when it was shipped, UPS said delivers 11/13 but now it seems it will be pushed back. Apple.com now says delivers 11/16.
