Stuck in Louisville, KY since 1:31 A.M. I live in CT. Patience... wearing... thin...

Oh I do! Coming up on Day 5 in China...It may be faster for me to apply for my passport, fly to China, retrieve my phone, and then return to the states

I hope mine gets here Thursday. Like they tell me but highly unlikely lol. Maybe they are just told to tell us certain days to keep us happy but when in reality it is not even going to be here until January 2nd 2018!
Did more investigating for myself... if my phone arrives in Louisville from Anchorage before 3:14AM, which it should, hopefully it gets on UPS1082, which departs at 3:14AM and gets to Newark Liberty International Airport in NJ at 4:31AM. From there it would just need to go on a short trip down the NJ Turnpike and then to my house ... a tomorrow delivery is looking really promising! UPS originally said today and Apple says Friday. Since the delays over the weekend, I’ve had no shipping estimates on UPS and Apple still says Friday... fingers crossed for tomorrow!

I just called UPS and the lady I spoke with told me that it is in the air now, did not give me a specific location. Said, there is still a good chance I will get it Thursday which was my original date from UPS. Hoping she is right, have to have it before I leave for the Holiday.
And this is the danger of making assumptions; my original delivery date was 11/3/17. Not quite so open and closed when you actually deal with facts vs. assumptions.
Its a dumb argument anyways. Apple could simply keep pushing their estimate date back and according to him, there is nothing to complain about.
