And just got email from Apple saying it will deliver on 11/8 which is day I leave on my NYC vacation (11/8 - 11/13). Hope UPS gets it here before then. Would really like to have X to play with and set up prior to trip.

Mine and my wife’s both changed to shipped within the last half hour or so. No emails yet from Apple but on Apple’s site it says estimated delivery November 8 (still says delivery range 16-24 though) but nothing on USP as of yet. Verizon 256GB phones hers is silver and mine is space gray. IUP for both.


We both just got the email from Apple saying delivers on the 8th. Now to figure out how one of us can be home next Wednesday...

Well, if I'm not getting mine bumped up and I can pick one up on 11/3 or I decide it's not worth it, I want to be able to cancel on Friday.

I'm going to be looking for an unlocked Verizon model to use on AT&T like I've done before, to get all the bands. So PFS this early would be bad for me if they aren't going to ship it in the next couple of days - going PFS two weeks in advance is too early.

So are they doing PFS early to appease people and make them feel like they moved up in the queue, all while still planning to not deliver for 2-3 weeks?

If launch phones are any indication of timing, my guess is the phone will ship soon, but not arrive until next week. I was charged on the 27th for my launch phone, and it shipped on the 29th. It didn't change status to "shipped" on Apple's website until this morning when I got an email.

My launch phone is sitting in Kentucky. My wife's phone is in the same boat as yours.

My guess is the second wave will be received by next Wednesday or Thursday. Just a guess.

IUP AT&T 256 silver was originally 17-24, was bumped to the 16th earlier in the week and received a shipped notice this morning. Still no scans like others yet with UPS but claiming 8th delivery.

I paid in full for two SG 256 GB T- Mobile phones, and placed order at 3:11 AM w. email confirmation received at 3:13 AM... eagerly awaiting PFS updates for my order!

Not to sound ungrateful, but anyone think we could get phones a day or more earlier than the 8th? Reason I ask is only because my vacation starts on the 8th and I don’t get home again until late evening of the 13th.
