I'm weird in the sense that I like things most people don't. For example, I think the hockey puck mouse that came with the original iMac was the best mouse ever made. I like the original iPod Shuffle, definitely not crazy about the new one.

Anyway, I regret not getting an extra gig of RAM when I bought my mini. (Now I have to buy it and install it myself, which ain't gonna go well.)

all good here.

no. any strangely enough, the HiFi i bought used on the forums marketplace was the best Apple purchase i ever made. use it every day. who knew?! :apple:

I, too, purchased one of the original iPod shuffles when they came out. It was an awesome little device, and I still have it. Though, I replaced it with a 2nd gen blue nano (best iPod ever, IMO) about a year and a half later, and now I only use the shuffle as a flash drive. That thing was durable. I must have dropped it a hundred times!

That's one of the things I loved about it. Durable as anything. Mine had scuff marks everywhere, yet still worked like new (Check out this thread; it even survived this!) Plus, it was easier to hold. I keep my iPod in my hand about 80% of the time, so i need something that fits well. The old shuffle was great. The new one is just uncomfortable.

Yeah, I definitely liked having the "stick of gum" to hold on to. The new nano looks to be uncomfortable, too, in the same way. I like my 2nd gen nano because it's longer and sits nicely in my palm with the screen fully visible. That new nano just looks like it'd be a tad to small to really get a grip on.

I think technology is getting to the point where we can make things as small as possible, but maybe for ergonomic reasons, we really shouldn't.

The only things that come to mind are my orange shuffle and my wired mouse and keyboard.

But I used my shuffle for a few months until the touch came out and in that time I liked it. And the new keyboards were not out when I got my keyboard and mouse so I could not have gotten the wireless ones I like.

So not regret but more of an I am over it.

But in general I have never regretted apple products.

WAITE I remember something. I got my dad an airport express last year so he could use his laptop and I could use my touch in the house. It turns out that the signal is really weak and does not even reach my room. Then I learned that I can stream wireless from my iMac so there is no need.

I seem to recall having problems with my ImageWriter II, but that was years ago and I can't even remember what they were. I recall that I was pissed enough to write a letter to Apple, one that never got a response.

dude same

i swear the same thing here i got an ipod touch that was so screwed up that i wrote letter went to the store and sent emails with every one ther was no response

iPod mini dock--- definitely not worth the $40.

iPhone dock, however, is another story, since it's nice to have a place for my phone, and, well, the price was right.

I half regret buying my iPod touch because the WiFi sucks and there are not that many good third party apps, but its multi-touch UI is very good and when you finally do get a net connection its got a very good net browser and e-mail client.

However, im not sure if it counts as I didnt buy it, my Mum did :D

The lanyard for my 1G nano. Thought it'd be really useful, and it would have been if it had been a bit more secure. If I'd been sitting down, and knocked the nano as I got up, the nano would go clattering to the floor. Now the lanyard's in a drawer.

I'm composing this response on my first-generation MacBook Core Duo 2.0GHz. While I think "regret" might be too strong a word, I've had a lot of problems with this notebook---mostly battery-related, but the various issues with this model are pretty well documented. I'm really looking forward to replacing it with a MacBook Pro, as soon as the updates are announced.
