Have you ever tried to quit MacRumors?

I'm trying to quit right now (for the day that is, not permanently ) as I've got an important report to write before 5pm, but even though the forums are slow at this time, I'm still hitting new posts every couple of minutes.

Yeah, the forums are slow today. Its rainy outside, my kids are building towers with their lego and I'm drinking coffee and .... new posts... new posts.... new posts....

• Enhanced or improved your communicative abilities
then why would you want to try and quit a positive thing?

Maybe I’m missing the underlying premise….that participation in MR forums is a negative thing? How so, if so?

I admit I've thought about it, but have never been able to stay away for longer than a few days. Lately, I've been getting on less and less, but that's mainly due to the fact that all I want to do these days is lay down, pee, and sleep. Posting on MR when you're dealing with morning sickness and various pregnancy symptoms just doesn't rank high up there on the list of priorities I'm sorry to say. Today's been a fairly good day with only moderate symptoms so that's why I'm here right now.
