so it's been about a week since my post, and i must say, i'm really enjoying my headphones. i've adjusted the EQ on my pc and have gotten the bass to where i want it, and having the new clarity, am very happy with my purchase. just go for it man, u can always return em if u don't like em.

Beats are crap, much better earphones can be had for much less money, and Beats are just a fashion statement.

Actually there's some interesting features there, of course real-world testing will say whether they come through or not. I don't plan to replace my Sennheisers any time soon though.

If you mainly listen to rap/hip hop Beats are as good as you can get so they have their use

Well let me say I got the Beats for christmas and I love them so far.
Only problem I see so far is the rechargeable battery they wont work without them charged. But so far so good great sound I like them better than the Sennheiser Momentum or Bose 15

Beats are very overpriced IMHO. I am using a JH16 Pro.

There is a price difference for sure but the sound quality can't be compared.

When you really try some high end audiophile IEM, you will understand why Bose, Beats and other crap are so overrated for the price tag.

I feel sorry for anyone paying that much of money for a " Boom Boom " phone.

I need NC and have been using the Bose for years. Not the best sound but still very good and the NC is still the best. Battery life is exceptional and keeping an extra battery or two in the case is very easy.

I tried the Parrot Zik last summer. They sound amazing and the gesture control is awesome. They're very heavy but extremely comfortable. It was the battery life that left me wanting. I ended up returning them for that reason alone. I could barely get through an entire move while also using NC. They use a proprietary battery which costs about $30 and isn't very small. Not large, but not AA small.
I really would have liked to keep them but 2 hours battery life while on a plane just doesn't cut it.
