Have you met any celebrities?

I have met joe thorton, bill russel (i think can't remember o_O) the TV announcer for the the celtics (can't remember name right now, and too lazy to check)
 
-Thursday (one of my favorite musicians)
-Sum 41 (musicians)
-Nickelback (musicians)
-Nelly Fertato (musician + is really really short)
-Michael Zordich (former Eagles football player, i slept over his house because i was friends with his son in elementary school before he moved to Ohio)

That's all I can remember and probably all there is, if there are I didn't care enough to remember :p
 
The other night my mom went to this event and ended up having dinner with Dan Cloutier (Canucks Goalie). She got him to sign something for me.
 
I met Tina Yothers from "Family Ties" fame at a skating rink in southern California over 15 years ago.

I also had Robert Redford look for me at a 4th of July Parade when I was two because I had wondered off (was a habit back then that caused my parents to institute the use of a child leash on both me and my poor younger sister). He was my second cousin at the time (married to my dad's cousin).

I think that's it....
 
i have shook Arthur Blank's hand before, and actually talked to him about Michael Vick back when he was injured. i would count that, since he's a billionaire
 
i met carlos mencia. he was cool. talked to him for a minute and got him to sign a cd.
 
I've met Joe Montana and Tom Chapin (not as much of a celebrity has his brother, but hey, I was 10).

I know Julian Lage pretty well; he's an amazing guitarist (played at the '98 [?] Grammys, and did a CD with Gary Burton, the vibraphonist). We had advocacy (like study hall) together in sophomore year, and we talked about Macs all the time with our teacher (we were in an iMac lab). FYI, he's got a PowerBook.
 
I have another one for this silly thread.

Last night I had dinner at a restaurant and we spotted actress Jacqueline Kim (Volcano, Star Trek: Generations, The Mighty Ducks) at the table next to ours. She didn't ask for my autograph, so I guess she didn't recognize me or was just being polite. :cool:

My brother worked with Damon Albarn doing digital sampling for Demon Days Live... I have a signed cd and a poster. Very cool guy.

Met him once in a pub in Paddington. I was rather drunk with a bunch of friends, and one of them dared me to go up and ask "Can I have your autograph, Mr Paxman", but I couldn't stop laughing when I did it.

Jeremy told me to **** off :D

I've come across a few while working in a coffee shop in santa barbara. ( when i used to live there )

Christopher Lloyd was a regular customer of mine ( sometimes he let me call him Doc Brown ;) )

Sandra Bullock/Jesse James ( on the weekend of their wedding )

Oprah ( lol. that made me laugh )
Maria Shriver ( she came with Oprah )

there are countless more, but i cant remember them all right now, those are just off the top of my head.

that would have been the highlight of my life. I love everything that man has to say about the automobile world. and i just WISH we got Top Gear over here in the US. I just wish... it would excite me enough to actually watch TV again.
 
do sports players count?

if so... i've met the entire miami dolphins team (sat next to jason taylor, travis minor, sam madison on a plane, had a convo with wannstedt).

met john vanbiesbrouck (used to play goalie for the panthers) at a miami heat after party.

uhmm.. can't think of anyone else now, but i know there is more.

oh ya.. mike bibby too
