1 married couple, 1 friend, and now the wife and I

Don’t think I’ll see a ton after Christmas. Still expensive as hell to buy.

Att has the best deal so far and it’s the only reason I have one. Wife has one because her company pays $125 a month in cell phone bill.

I see ‘em in First Class on every flight. Seem to be selling quite well with the well-to-do. The bright screen is immediately recognizable.
You’d expect that considering the price of the thing. I would imagine they are a lot more popular in America too. They are a rare as rocking horse poo where I live and plenty of people I mix with could easily afford it. Its not had as much hype as previous iPhones though and that helps.

I see them pretty frequently already amongst customers at work (I do work at a luxury car dealership) and expect to see even more of them after Christmas has passed.

I actually think this time a year is one of the biggest times of years to upgrade. Carriers have the busiest day After Christmas. You have a lot of consumers using gift cards, money and trade-ins to get the latest iPhone. I think they're going to start flourishing more now that they are more readily available in stock as well.

Four times prior. A customer at a Nektar Juice Bar two weeks after release. Once at Panda Express while waiting in line. Another at Big Chopsticks because one of the guys who worked at the front had one.

And the final one is my brother just earlier today. I didn't really care to check it out. We did share music and noticed my LG G5 had a louder speaker while I checked out his music playlist and played songs. And he liked my wide-angle lens. G5 actually took a clearer shot at Tap's Restaurant than his X.

Apple is going to use the same design for the next four generations. It's going to be common as hell in the next 3+ years. Any time I see one use the X, I don't go wow. I'm more interested in ones using a Pixel 2 XL because that's far more rare. Especially a panda one.

I've only seen two in the wild: at a nightclub and at the grocery store. I tend to notice which phone people are using.

I have not yet seen a iPhone X in the streets yet being used by anyone. Im always looking for that ugly notch but have not yet seen one. I’m guessing nobody can really stomach $1300 for a phone that does pretty much the same as Any other iphone. And once you get past Face ID, Nothing else really shines..

I see a few every day in my neck of the woods? They are everywhere at this point.

I’m guessing they will have to do more sneaky planned obsolescence to force people to upgrade. Why pay $1300 when the device you already have still can get the same task completed?

Really depends on where you’re from. I see a few everyday. In face one sits right at the next desk everyday.

I remember seeing iPhone 4, 5 and 6 pluses in the wild when they were first released.. I guess that’s the reason for the low demand on the Xs

I've seen a few in bigger cities and on airplanes, but not in the area where I live. Out of the 50 people that work at the plant I work at, not a single X but many older models.

I've started to see them out and about, not in huge numbers though as of yet... of course my wife and I both have them, my parents both do and her parents as well. My boss has one also - does that count?

I think it's either stupid or that somebody hasn't spent much time with an X to say there's nothing once you get past Face ID. It's been easily the best phone (and iPhone) I've owned yet, I've been quite happy with all aspects of it - even the notch... also I only spent $999 on it.

I mean you could say that every single year - "I'm guessing nobody can stomach spending $949 for a 7+ 128 that does pretty much the same as any other iPhone, etc"... where does that cutoff start, $800, $900?

Saw one Tuesday when I was out for lunch.

Stayed home yesterday and teleworked, so all I saw was an SE and an iPhone 8. :p
